Very impressed with the quality of their BBQ! 4/5 stars because the cornbread was really dry, fries were soggy and it would’ve been nice for the food to come out all at once (there was a 4-5 minute delay in between each dish that was brought out) but overall pretty nice experience.

My family and I celebrated my mom’s birthday dinner and ordered the following: caesar salad, ribs, dry rub wings, 1/2 chicken, and 1/2lb fatty brisket.

Caesar salad was really good, it was flavorful and well dressed with crispy lettuce. My dad ordered ribs which had great flavor, we really liked all the sauces that came with our proteins but ribs did not fall off the bone, we had to make an effort to cut around the bone to get the meat off. My mom ordered dry rub wings and she really liked those, my brother got the 1/2 smoked chicken with peri peri & chumichurri sauce, and french fries on the side and all of them were amazing except the fries. Periperi sauce is VERY SPICY it’s more of a relish texture than it is a sauce, lots of peppers with seeds so if you’re a huge spice fan like my brother you’ll like it. The chicken plate has so much protein and it was melt in your mouth soft with amazing smoky flavor. I ordered the 1/2lb fatty brisket (you have the option to choose between lean or fatty) and it was delicious! Great flavor, melted in my mouth and the entire portion got me super full. Instead of bread and fries I got roasted brussel sprouts and those were so good! It came with caramelized onions and parmesan cheese and were cooked to perfection.

Our server EB was also really nice, he had great service and kept our drinks topped up as well as ensuring we enjoyed everything despite having a full section.

Would definitely return in the future to try their other items!! Highly recommend the fatty brisket though it...

The place is nice and we got seated quite quickly but we weren't offered any water and there was no cutlery on the table when we sat down. We waited pretty long for a waiter to come over which was fine as there were quite a few tables occupied, I just think it would have been nice to have been offered water while we waited. The waiter came and took our drink orders and said she would bring water for the table but only ended up bringing two instead of four as the other two people got other drinks that weren’t water, although they also ordered water. My boyfriend ordered the the ultimate platter for one and subbed out the pulled pork for brisket which cost $3 extra. We got our orders all at different times so I was sitting there without my meal while everyone else got theirs, however they still could not eat since we still didn’t get any cutlery. After my meal arrived I had to ask for some cutlery for the table. I was shocked at the very small portions of my boyfriends meal. Having paid an extra $3 for the brisket, it was the smallest portion I’d ever seen. Literally bite sized. Not sure why they charged extra for that instead of letting you sub at no additional cost. And he also only got only half a cornbread when everyone else got a full portion?? The sides of coleslaw and beans were also in little shot glass sized cups. Nothing like the portion sizes I’d seen in the other reviews with photos. I’m not sure why they skimped out so heavily on his meal, but if that’s what they give for a $30 meal we won’t be going back. Their Mac and cheese was good though and the chicken you can add to it was pretty large and tasted great, so that’s why I’m giving 3 stars...

Over the weekend….the family decided to try STACKsmmmoked restaurant at Oakville Place. We went on a Sunday noontime. For drinks, we ordered a LEMONBERRY, a JUICE PUNCH FIZZ and my ever favorite JONES Rootbeer. I am more of a soda guy but when I took a sip of the punch fizz, it was very, very refreshing.

For starters, we ordered PARMESAN FRIES and a Small Caesar. The fries had that nice rosemary hint to it, with the parmesan of course being the highlight of it all. Their Caesar salad is one of the best I’ve tasted. Other places either have bland tasting dressings, sometimes too much lemon in it or strong garlic flavored ones. Theirs is just done right….it’s a must if you mush have your salad fix.

We didn’t order much and opted to try their BBQ Sampler Plate. The standard plate would have BBQ chicken, side or back ribs and pulled pork. If you want to sub the pulled pork with beef brisket, you can do for an extra 2 bucks. If you enjoy trying a bit of everything, I do recommend ordering this plate, nothing fancy….just straightforward BBQ servings. My daughter also ordered their classic BACON Cheeseburger and boy was it a good call ever. I really don’t say much about the burgers I’ve ordered in the past but I do believe STACKsmmmoked got this one right. The burger patty was thick and juicy. Now other patty may be thick but some of them are bland. This one is just brimming with taste, must be high quality ground chuck…..seasoned right with salt and pepper.

The ambience was good, the bar has a TV for sport fans. Clean tables and surroundings……..very conducive for meals. Staff was always smiling, regularly attentive and...
