McDonald's — Restaurant in Oakville

The red-haired lady, , was extremely rude.

She had addressed us in a fairly condescending tone for speaking a little too loudly during the night shift. I understand that she might not have wanted to be working at night when my group came in to eat. But that was no reason to be so impatient and have such an unkind attitude.

Later, she came up to us while we were eating our food in the corner of the restaurant and demanded in an unnecessary loud and demeaning tone that if we were not eating and were only sitting with our friends then we must leave or else she would call the police. Granted, some of us were sitting about the seats (and a person unassociated with our group was argueing with her for a short while) but this was an EXTREME over reaction.

After this outburst, she ceded that we could sit in until our meals were over (after a large amount of protesting, which halted our meal and was very unnecessary and uncomfortable)

However, as she was leaving, a friend of mine said that "she was rude" in a conversational tone. She then screamed something along the lines of "You know what? Whoever is friends with her leaves, you know what? Everybody out!"

She even threatened to call the police for our "disrespectful behaviour and supposedly our loud atmosphere" (keep in mind there was only 1 small group in the restaurant at the other end of the place as well as her previous behaviour).

However, the saving grace of this experience was Liam, who was a great employee and was very kind and understanding to our plight.

This is my first ever google review and it's pathetic I felt the need to go out of my way to let other people know that the service is just that incompetent and the food just that poor in quality. I've worked at McDonald's before and know what the standard of the food is meant to be held to and it's just embarassing I was delivered such a lacking product. My poutine's fries were overdone; it felt like I was biting into a piece of tree bark, and the cheese curds were also not even melted. This means that the gravy was not at the correct temperature in the first place for the cheese curds to melt, not that it has been a long time since the poutine was made and the product got cold by the time it got to my house. I ordered a double quarter pounder BLT with cheese and got no cheese, no BLT and a single burger patty. I also didn't get the large milkshake I put into my order and didn't even get a drink at all? I'm supposed to eat my food dry when I spent over $30 for it total including delivery fee because I wanted food specifically from McDonald's? And on top of all that I also ordered 6 chocolate chunk cookies and only got 3 of the 6 that I paid for. Absolutely pathetic service and food quality. This location is an embarassment to the McDonald's franchise and needs to have its staff retrained,...

I was on my way home from Copa Cabana and really needed to use the washroom - this was around 9PM on a Tuesday. Google Maps pointed me to this McDonalds because it was close to the highway. I had every intention of purchasing a coffee and a large fries after I finished my business, but things change.

I practically ran to the washroom, (it was pretty filthy) and thankfully the only stall was clear. Typically I wipe the seat down a few times with TP, but I was in a rush. When I was finished doing the dirty, I realized in horror as there was no TP. I tried calling out, but no answer and realized that I would need to yell very loudly. I found my work phone in my pocket and saw there was 4% remaining. I had to act quickly. I opened Google Maps, found the phone number, and called to have someone awkwardly deliver me a fresh roll of TP to the door.

When I left the washroom, I probably should have gotten angry with the McDonalds staff for not having a properly maintained washroom, especially in this day and age, but embarrassment got the better of me and I left.

I wouldn't come back to this particular McD's anytime soon, or any McD's for that matter, I have never had a good experience, but I give two stars for the dude who came to my rescue with the...
