This may not be a high class Indian restaurant but the atmosphere was certainly clean and modern looking. There was (somewhat loud) Indian music playing from large speaker near the back with alternating flashing lights and a nice bar near the front of the restaurant. The washrooms was labeled "skip to the loo" and I was a bit confused about which washroom was male/female for a second because of the pictures on the doors...

The menu was designed differently than most and was fairly unique. Unfortunately, some of the menu items in Indian were a bit confusing but the waitress did explain what the items were (I.e. sandwiches/rolls, noodles, etc.). The food was good but portions seem to be on the smaller side. There wasn't much bread when we ordered and most of the food had some sort of spicy level to it (normal for Indian food, so customer beware).

The waitress was professional and friendly but talked really fast which kind of made it hard to understand, on top of their accent. However, service wasn't too bad; what was different was that they didn't exactly take our menu away after ordering and didn't ask us for water (water bottles were on the table but BEWARE, they may charge you for them without telling you if you use them, not sure if they did for us :/). Our roll came pretty quickly but our butter chicken took a very long time.

Overall, I would recommend giving this place a try. With the nice ambiance and good food, this is definitely a nice place for a meal with friends/family (if you don't mind...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bollywood Cafe Indian Street Eats & Bar and was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant offers a vibrant and lively atmosphere, filled with colorful decor and upbeat Bollywood music that instantly puts you in a good mood.

As a vegetarian, I was excited to try their Paneer Sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was packed with flavorful grilled paneer, fresh vegetables, and a delicious blend of spices. The paneer was soft and perfectly marinated, offering a rich, creamy texture that paired wonderfully with the crispy bread. The sandwich also included a tasty chutney that added a nice kick of flavor without overpowering the other ingredients.

In addition to the sandwich, I enjoyed the Mango Lassi. It was the perfect accompaniment to the meal—creamy, sweet, and incredibly refreshing. The lassi’s smooth texture and subtle mango flavor were a great way to balance the spices from the sandwich.

The service was fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had a pleasant experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations.

Bollywood Cafe Indian Street Eats & Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious vegetarian options and authentic Indian flavors. The Paneer Sandwich is a standout dish that I highly recommend. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more...

Although I live in Leamington, about 45 minutes away, my Indian coworkers keep raving about Bollywood Cafe in downtown Windsor — especially their momos. (Which, I were educated on, are little pockets of joy wrapped in delightfully delicious dough dumplings)

It’s definitely become ‘the talk of the town’ in the best way possible. The Bollywood Cafe & Bar already came to me highly recommended and it certainly lived up & exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance —lively and engaging, yet still relaxing. An interesting and unique ambiance. Soulful.

Great sound system, neither too quiet or too loud. I used the app SoundHound to identity some of the songs, some Arijit Singh &RJ Kartik there.

Service was excellent. Our waitress was incredibly kind, patient, and down-to-earth, helping us navigate the menu with ease. I ended up trying the Creamy Afghani Momos and a Cutting Tea (Chai Masala), and both were a delight. I like the way the cutting tea was served.

Parking was a bit of a challenge — I had to pay for a meter — but honestly, it was well worth it. The Bollywood Cafe is a must-visit, it isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience I’ll be replaying in my mind until my next visit! I’ll definitely be back!

We ( me and my wife ) went through many good reviews about this restaurant and decided to go there for dinner . In the menu it was mentioned that we can order alcohol but when asked about beer they said for some reason they can’t offer beer so we decided to have coffee ( in our dinner 😂) . We ordered Golgappe , pizza and Vegie steamed Momos . It took 25 minutes that it usually take for steamed Momos . In the mean time we had gogappe and Pizza ( it was good) . At last, we got Momos , we had our first bite and surprisingly it was chicken momos . We both are vegetarian and after having that chicken momos bite we called the server back and she took the momos back to kitchen and said sorry for that . It’s hard to express here how angry we were there but somehow we managed to control our emotions rachae there were many other customers having their dinner and we don’t want to make it issue there . We just asked for bill so we can walk away from this place . The server came with bill and said “ here is your bill and we didn’t charge you for Momos .” We were like “ Wow , seriously? “
