There are so many amazing things to say about Keifuku, but I’ll try to keep it as short as possible:
Went in for dinner on Wednesday at 7:30pm. Waitress greeted us IMMEDIATELY. Such a warm and welcoming smile. Instrumental music made for a comfortable environment, and lights on the ceiling looked like natural sunlight. Great ambiance.
Waitress gave us cold water with no ice, and a fresh cucumber inside. SUPER hydrating and delicious.
The waitress could tell it was our first time, and we were taking FOREVER to order. The menu has so much variety. So she gave us an edamame appetizer ON THE HOUSE. Perfectly salted, cold, just enough to keep us satisfied while we decide to order.
We finally ordered after our waitress clearly explained some of the menu items for us. She was very detailed and patient. She also repeated our order back, which a lot of servers don’t normally do.
There were 3 of us, and we each ordered some type of appetizer and two mains. All of the food came out one after the other in PERFECT ORDER and timing. It was spaced out evenly, enough to digest the meal before.
Waitress CONSTANTLY (but not overbearingly) asked us if everything was tasting good, and if we needed anything else. She would refill our water pitcher without us having to ask. And she constantly cleared our plates, making sure our table was never crowded.
Food was SO FRESH, BEAUTIFULLY plated, and you could tell that every ingredient was carefully chosen to complement each other and create a perfectly harmonized orchestra in your mouth! Every bite has the “Mmmmmmmm” factor! Waitress even took her time to explain how a delicious Ponzu dressing was house made with freshly squeezed lemons!
Toward the end of our last entree, our waitress came back again with spinach salads ON THE HOUSE. It’s like she knew that this is exactly what we needed. It was a cold salad with a home made lemony dressing. Cleansed my palate perfectly.
My brother ordered dessert for the table, and the waitress cut the dessert into three pieces without us asking. They were so evenly cut as well. Such a great way to end the meal. Perfect amount of sweetness. Ice cream “cone” was yummy!
After we paid for the meal, waitress asked what our favourite part was. She wouldn’t stop smiling, and her and the chef both waived us good bye. (She also brought out FROZEN GRAPES on the house. Another palate cleanser after the dessert! Very sweet, and yummy!)
Just so everyone knows, every time I leave a review on Google, I am NEVER asked to leave one. If I’m asked to leave one, I usually don’t. And when I leave one, it’s because I really didn’t like, or I liked the place. I LOVED this place and had to let everyone know!
Please support your local small business! Some people may consider turning away because of the prices, but I think the prices are PERFECTLY reasonable for the quality of the food (freshest fish I’ve had), and the impeccable service! Definitely worth it in my opinion. I would go back once a week to try something new each time!
They also have a ton of vegetarian friendly options! I got one order of veggie gyoza, tofu teriyaki, miso soup, a full roll, a scallop thing, and seared tuna (PLUS 3 FREE SIDE DISHES ON THE HOUSE). $84 after tax. Was completely full and very satisfied after!

Read moreHonest review. I wanted to like this place a lot after reading reviews I was really looking forward to it; however, it was pretty disappointing.
I found the rolls to lack flavour. Plenty of ingredients in each roll but the flavours were flat. This wasn’t helped by the fact they brought rolls one by one. I’ve never experienced that. It’s not common in North America so if it’s an authentic thing well that’s fine but it’s not how I like to enjoy sushi. You get bored of the flavour eating one roll at a time. So maybe advise the customers so they know to expect that.
Service was fine. She forgot a roll but then told me I didn’t order it which wasn’t the case and by that time they were closing up.
The place was super clean and the waitress was really nice. But 65$ for 4 rolls that were just okay didn’t leave me wanting to return.
I also didn’t like that their hot sauce for 2 rolls were ordered was just siracha. Not the taste I’m looking for when I...

We got the following amazing items on the menu:
• Tuna Tataki (all sauces are made in-house) - probably my favourite item on the menu. Nicely seared to perfection on outside, juicy and fresh on the inside) • Ankake Tofu • Fire Dragon Roll • Salmon Oshi Aburi (finally a place with Aburi!!) • Scallop Oshi Aburi (with flying fish caviar!!) • Spicy Tuna Salad
You can’t go wrong with anything from Keifuku Sushi. I can’t wait to go back and try...
