Cheese Wheelz — Restaurant in Ontario

Knowing that this location is known for very slow service I went into this location last week and pre ordered some very basic food.  I made an agreement with the cook that I would come back to pick up my order in half an hour.  I returned to the store 35 minutes later to find out that my order had not even started yet.  The cook who is also the owner showed no customer service skills as he informed me my order had not even been started yet.  It took an additional 15 minutes to have my order prepared.  Being located in the downtown core it is important that you can prepare basic food orders in a timely manner as a good portion on your business comes from nearby office buildings who have limited time for lunch.    This is not the first time I have experienced or heard of extremely slow poor service from this Cheese Wheelz location.  I have witnessed the owner panic when he has more then 1 order on the go at a time Simply put he cannot handle being busy.  The quality and taste of the food from this location has decreased since the current owner took over several years ago.  The owner seems to be there ro make a quick buck.       I hope some other small quick serve restaurants come into the downtown core and role Cheese Wheelz and it’s owner right out of the downtown  core.  One star is way to high of a rating for this place.  Stay away from this mess.   McDondald’s around the corner has better food and service...

Absolutely disgusting place with very low standard food quality. The young girl at the front counter during the night was not knowledgable. The menu states all the pricing and it clearly states ($6.99 1 pound of wings) & ($12.99 2 pounds of wings) I place an order for 2 pounds and hand her a $20 bill. She gives me back the change and I instantly realize I was shorted. I ask her and point to the only menu on the wall behind her stating that the 2 pounds of wings is $12.99, her response was "most of those prices are wrong"... I ended up paying $16.95 for 12 tiny wings. As you can see according to the size they cannot even feed a child! Each "pound" consisted of 6 miniscule wings and was far from a pound. This place is a scam and prey on people who come in drunk just to grab something to eat. It is illegal to advertise something at one price and sell it for another. Their Pizza is a whole other story and absolutely disgusting. It says a lot about a place that advertises "best pizza you have ever tried" and also allowing to put as many toppings as you want on a slice to decieve drunk individuals with the idea that they are eating something decent and paying a fair price. I advise people to stay away or at least experience it sober after-hours to see...

Although I enjoy the food here, I cannot recommend them due to their service. The staff don’t seem to know the menu. The quality is never consistent. I was being charged different prices for the same orders/items. The staff rarely seem to wash their hands or wear/change gloves. And the worst part, they’ll forget to make part of your order so you’ll end up going without or having to wait for it.

Today I had enough. I ordered just one item, a side of garlic fries which takes them 2-3 minutes, usually. They said over the phone that it’ll be ready in 20 minutes, hmm ok must be busy. So I arrive 20 minutes later, the place was empty. There was an employee finishing a call. He gets another call and takes that without even greeting me, whatever I don’t care. Another employee walks out, and ends up pulling some fries out the fridge. She then asks the other employee how to start the deep fryer and how many fries to use for my order. At this point I had been in the place for about 5 minutes and my fries weren’t even in the fryer yet so I just left.

Why tell me to be there in 20 minutes if my order will be ready in 30? And why does an order of fries take 30 minutes some days and 5...
