Daawat Indian Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Ontario

I recently visited this restaurant that left a sour taste in my mouth. This was for the more than 3rd time my experience at this establishment was beyond terrible, thanks to their poor customer service. My friend and I ordered food for dine-in, but the staff forgot that they took our order, which caused a 15-minute delay. After waiting for more 30 minutes, we still hadn't received our food, and there was no acknowledgment of the delay.

The restaurant only has a few good dishes, which is why people come here, but this experience has put me off even those. I was totally disappointed, and my appetite had completely vanished by the time the food finally arrived. To make matters worse, we weren't the only ones who had a bad experience. Two people who sat next to us waited for more than 20 minutes and left without anyone coming to take their order. It was obvious that the staff didn't care about the customers.

What's even more ridiculous is that the table next to ours got their starters after getting their main course. The lack of organization and professionalism was appalling, and I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you're looking for a decent dining experience, you won't find it here. Save yourself the trouble and find another place to eat.

I am sorry but google doesn't have zero star option. The customer service is worst. I ordered Chicken dum biryani and it was very cold(like just TOOK OUT from FRIDGE), I didn't knew until I reached home. I called them to let them know and they didn't even APOLOGIZE. The girl was very rude with us over call and when we went to return the biryani. The waitress showed us attitude and didn't even addressed the issue. When I told her to give us new batch she said all the cooks are gone and I cannot do it. But how is it possible because the restaurant closes at 1 AM in the morning (according to skip and Google)? Although when we argue with her she was ready to give us new batch of chicken dum biryani. When she came back with new batch she didn't even said a word and just roll her eyes and gave us over takeout.This is is not the first time I have had problems. Although, the food is delicious but the customer service is worst. Please hire new staff and fire that girl who was showing attitude and roll the eyes if cx complained. Ordered on the phone to enjoy the Sunday evening, just before the Easter Monday. Being as a food lover, wanted to try a new Indian restaurant in the town.Gave them 2 hours to prepare 7 (4 varieties) Indian curries, but what happened there is, waited there for 30 more minutes. I don’t know how longer they need. I observed mismanagement regarding on call orders. There were many hungry customers waiting in front of their door, there were some delivery drivers too from different food courier services. Finally, got the ordered items after 2 hours and 40 minutes after ordering it. Reached home and tested all items, 2 varieties of them were quite acceptable but 2 of them were too sweet; felt like eating some Indian Sweets not the Indian Spicy curry though I clearly instructed them I don’t want any sweet curry, make it spicy. Ultimately that evening after enjoying the whole day, went just horrible.
