We entered the store to place our dinner order. Opting for the 4-piece combo with fries and a biscuit, we made a specific request for freshly fried chicken and fries. However, upon arrival, we noticed trays filled with pre-fried chicken that did not appear fresh. Similarly, there was a tray of fries that seemed to have been cooked a while ago. Upon expressing our preference for freshly fried items, the staff assured us that everything had just been prepared and was indeed fresh. Despite our reservations, they insisted that the food was hot and ready. Unfortunately, upon opening our meal, the reality was disappointing. The fries were notably soggy, as evidenced in the accompanying picture, and the chicken was cold and excessively oily. Given the quick preparation time typical of fast food, providing freshly fried food shouldn't have been a challenge. This experience left us thoroughly disappointed and significantly detracted from our dining enjoyment. Tried this place for the first time and we were a bit disappointed. It was alright, but we got two Tuesday specials (4.99$) which consisted of a leg and a thigh. My husband was hoping for a breast and then whatever for the second piece but the girl at the counter said if you want a piece of white, you would need to order a three piece meal for 13.69$ and they would then give you a leg, a thigh and a breast. At Mary Brown’s, which is our go to, you usually get serendipity pieces, so you’ll get a mix. I guess this place saves those for the real customers not the discounted ones. At least they were honest about it. It seems weird to not try to make a customer happy with such a simple request. One white piece out of four can’t be THAT much more expensive. Nice to see this location now open. Went in for the first time yesterday and was happy to see they have enough staff to keep the restaurant clean. I ordered the 10 piece meal and a chicken fingers combo. The chicken was made fresh and was perfectly prepared and tasty. The fries were crispy and hot and the gravy was not salty like most fast food restaurants. The chicken fingers were huge and delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and very accommodating to make sure that I was happy with everything in my order before leaving. When I got home my order was well packed and still hot.
