Street Momo is a gastronomic delight for the momo and the hakka aficionados, like me. They also have a whole section dedicated to Indian curries and breads. For those seeking an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates fusion cuisine crafted with love, Street Momo is an absolute must-visit. 🥰🥰 I had the pleasure of meeting the cherry-picked and talented crew of chefs from Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, led by the incredible head Chef Rajan, from Nepal. ❤️🙏🏻 Starting right down to business, we laid hands on the Madras Momos. The fusion of South Indian spices, aroma of curry leaves, mustard, and the rich fresh coconut in the gravy over the steamed vegetable momos was a true revelation. This is a must-eat, and I promise you – you won’t find it in Canada easily. 🙌🏻🥰 The Jhol Momos, paying homage to the flavours of Nepal, is another masterpiece at Street Momo. The steamed chicken momos were generously drenched in a simple, homely, soul-soothing tomato soupy gravy. Every spoon left me craving for more. 🤤🤩 The Tandoori Momos added a touch of subtle smoky char and saucy flavour. The tender chicken momos, marinated in a lip-smacking blend of yogurt and spices, were grilled to perfection. The accompanying chutneys elevated the experience. 🔥🔥 A delightful surprise was the Mango Salad, a refreshing contrast to the momo-centric menu, making it the choice of bowl for those seeking a lighter, yet equally satisfying, dish. Their hakka-style Chow Mein is Indo-Chinese at its finest. Have the noodles with Chilli Paneer, and you are set for a spicy journey into the bylanes of Northern India. Equally recommended is their Pad Thai flat noodles with prawns!💯

I've heard nothing but amazing things about Street Momo. I decided to finally try them tonight. I didn't want to dine alone, so I ordered take out . I ordered the Tandoori Momo's, Butter Chicken Momo's and garlic naan bread. I was disappointed that I had no green sauce with my tandoori Momo's, when thats supposed to be part of the experience... The butter chicken Momo's however came with a decent amount of sauce. I know in-restaurant is going to be a better experience, but for take out they were ok. I was honestly most pleased with the garlic naan. Wow . The naan bread was the size of my head! GIGANTIC. With the Momo's being on the pricier side, I felt the naan was incredibly well priced. It tasted so good dipped in the butter chicken Momo sauce. All in all a solid dinner. I was surprisingly stuffed off just a couple Momo's. I'll be back to try of their other dishes.

I can't even begin to say how absolutely wonderful it is to have a place like this in Durham. I have yet to try anything that is not cooked fresh or delicious. We have dine in with family but also regularly do take outs. Momos are so delicious I personally love Chilli Momos my husband loves coconut madras ones.the lamb roghan gosht , biryani , madras lamb the okra curry butter chicken everything is cooked to perfection in delicious spices if you can take the heat. They also do mild to medium modifications. The only thing that could be better is fried rice but not the reason I dine with them so not a big one for me. Other suggestion would be to add some young children friendly items so I carin bring my picky 4 years old to dime with us.if you haven't already this place is a must. Nice family run business and friendly staff. Sheen and Kenny

The food was so good I totally forgot to snap a couple pics of it. We started with the butter chicken momo and it was perfect. Love the presentation of it. Saw a teriyaki one go by for another customer and its presentation looked even better! I did have the butter chicken, rice and garlic naan. The naan was the standout here. It was absolutely amazing! Topped with their delicious, flavourful butter chicken and I was a happy boy. The service was great! Including the little robot they have that can bring your food to you! The wait staff was ON TOP of the water game. My cup was never dry with how well they kept the bottles coming. We never once had to ask, they just saw we were down and brought another bottle! Will definitely be back when I get a chance!

I had a pretty decent experience at Street Momo. We visited the place on a Friday evening and the place was pretty much empty in the evening early hours. Our order was - Steamed Chicken Momo, Chicken Chow Mein and Chili Chicken. We really liked the chow mein and chili chicken - prepared Nepali style, pretty much the same taste what we get in Indian hill stations of Sikkim. We were expecting the same taste and were delighted to get the same. Unfortunately the let down was the Momo - It had plenty of black pepper in the filling and lacked any other taste. We have had multiple places with better Momo here in North America. Another good aspect of the place is the server robot - really one of the first to introduce this concept in the Durham region.

Hidden Gem 💎 excellent food. Me and my wife were going Hamilton from Kingston on hot day wanted to have something really quick with a cold beer and she found this gem. Haven't had such food in a while they are keeping their name high and handsome as we had their Tandoori Momo's and have no words how yummy they were even their Indian dishes taste good. Food was fresh and healthy and restaurant was well maintained with full hygiene. Must go to place if you love East Indian food. Have seen some of them wrote that they don't have options and food is not fresh and so on, guys I can understand you had bad day or and your taste buds need some workout 😉 Thanks Street Momo's will surely return when I get chance and also will recommend you. Cheers 🍻
