Wild Scoop Ice Cream / Wild Soup — Restaurant in Powell River

I am certainly the minority given that most others have rated this so highly, but I did not love it. I bought a pint of icecream and some soup.

The soup was ok, but felt like bad value for 11$. And it contained cartilage from the chicken. Unfortunately I was sharing this with my toddler and they almost choked on it (I thought I had just given the baby chicken and veg from the soup).

The icecream was felt low quality and had a mild flavour. It tasted light and more milk based than creamy. I love an indulgent creamy icecream.

Good quality ice cream, like a fancy place in Vancouver such as Earnest or Rain or Shine as points of comparison. The flavours are creative and made in house. They do still have classic flavours as well. I really like the soft ice cream with fruit added. Waffle cones and those special black waffle cones that some people like.

A friend of mine likes it so much she picked it up off the ground rubbed off the dirt with a napkin and put it back onto her cone.

Some flavours I can remember: Blackberry Ginger Pistachio Saffron Jaffa...

Had a vegan gluten free freshly made waffle cone and a single scoop of non dairy chocolate salted caramel ice cream. It was so delicious and very reasonably priced. The ice cream was smooth, rich, and creamy and the cone was crunchy and yummy. If I lived in Powell River I would be here every day. Thank you for making such amazing treats for us food allergy folks! I have been craving a real rich tasting non dairy ice...
