Rock Creek Tap and Grill — Restaurant in Regina

Ordered delivery from here tonight. Portions were embarrassingly small for a $68 order for two entrees. Pit platter- sausage was dry, overcooked, hard, inedible. 1 of two ribs was good, the second one was some how very overcooked and chewy, also inedible. Buddha bowl tasted old, definitely not fresh. Ended up having to get chicken as they were out of beef. There was less than 1/4 of a chicken thigh worth of chicken in the entire dish. Both of us ended up getting sick within an hour of eating half our meals, had to toss the other half. Incredibly disappointed. Called and spoke with the individual who identified herself as the manager- her response is that she was looking around the restaurant there and no one else was sick so it couldn’t have been the food that made us sick. She offered a gift card to the restaurant (definitely not going to risk eating from there again), but was otherwise uninterested in hearing any feedback. I’m afraid this was Rock Creek Grill’s last chance with us!!! I ordered salmon (waitress didn’t ask which one I wanted and I didn’t realize there were two). The salmon was good but came with capers (THERE WAS NO MENTION OF CAPERS ON THE MENU!!!) I wanted avocado salsa - waitress brought me some. Avocado was processed and had no resemblance to avacado in colour, substance or taste! Pathetic. Roasted vegetables were too spicy to eat—( again NO MENTION OF SARIACHA SAUCE IN DESCRIPTION OF SIDES) I can’t eat hot sauce. Waitress didn’t offer to change anything or charge less. My husband ordered rice bowl which had no resemblance to a rice bowl whatsoever!!! Better rice bowl at Applebees! In your defence I scraped the capers off the salmon and salmon was good. Very disappointed in vegs because I love roasted vegs!!! It was my birthday so a bit disappointing.
