The Cure Kitchen + Bar — Restaurant in Regina

This was my first visit, Read the last line first if you wanna get tonthe point. Stopped in last night, 23 Aug 2019 whilst driving limousine, I had dropped my customers off at Avenue down the street. I was looking for a flavorful meal with value. I searched Google for good food close by and found The Cure, see what I did there? In the middle of the menu, I found the Cubano, a favorite of mine and at a $10 price point. The restaurant itself is very cozy and relaxed scene, there are two separate atmospheres in my eye. On either side of the large bar xtending from the open view kitchen , that provide for either a sit down quiet chat library scene or on the other side the traditional small 4 seat pub tables in various cunfigurations, great for small groups. A band was setting up for a 9 pm start and the kitchen closes at 10 pm. My Cuban at first appeared small, but upon experiencing it fully it was only small in its footprint. It was stacked together high and very neatly and held together while eating, lots of nearly 1/4 inch thick slices of meat. I had a salad that was delicious and was more flavorful than I at first expected, I noted that the lettuce was a little tart at first but as the other flavors hit the tastebuds that was a non issue. I had a virgin caesar to top things off. Not too spicy was made perfectly so as to not overpower my meals flavor. Bill was just over $20, which was spot on with my expectation for a fill with flavour for that value. I shall return again today as I was impressed...

Racist pos employees My mother went there to go order Me dinner she walked in and waited her turn politely and patiently, everyone ignored her no one looked at her or even acknowledge her as she started to feel really uncomfortable she said she felt like a wall and invisible everyone ignored her and I said where they white ? She said yeah and I understood everything, acting like that cause they probably didn’t think she had money, this is my mother and your employees disrespected her and ruined my night I wanted to try the cure food but not anymore I told her don’t ever go there anymore if they don’t want our money they clearly don’t need it acting like that, they never took her order she even said excuse me and raised her hand no one looked at her so she walked out it’s just so disgusting and disrespectful and mean we’re are treated like this even on...

The atmosphere is great, it reminds me of the industrial chic hangouts I frequented when I lived in London, UK. It really has a nice welcoming feel and the decor is urban cool.

The service was great from all the employees, the one attending to us was exception, very well dressed almost fitting of the decor which was fun. He knew the menu very well and offered recommendations for both food and drink, which is always good advice.

The food was better than I could have expected, fresh seared tuna bites, tempura vegetable and shoestring fries, it was just a little lunch portions were generous, and as such we could've made it without the fries.
