I was staying in Revelstoke for a quick work trip and I had to check out of my hotel that day; I couldn't leave until my husband was also off work so I searched for a place to eat and work on my laptop. Sadly Revelstoke is being plagued with staffing shortages and it was a struggle to find somewhere to eat. I stumbled across this place in my desperate search for food and drink. The staff were very friendly and let me set up shop in the corner by the window. Not only was the food amazing, I noticed in my time sitting there that everyone was working away so diligently. The atmosphere was happy, everyone was happy to be there. I saw what I assumed was the manager, walking around and cleaning and organizing; making sure every guest who walked in the front door had the best experience. Next time I come to Revelstoke I won't seek out another place to have a coffee and snack because I know Conversations is a special place. It's also very clean and follows strict COVID...

Decent coffee, pretty good food and service. My one big issue was that I had a miscommunication with one of the baristas and ended up having to pay for two coffees. I ordered an americano misto with sugar-free caramel. I was then asked how many "shots" I wanted. Assuming (as a former barista myself) that shots meant espresso, I asked for three. The barista was talking about the "shots" of flavour. So, the drink tasted waaaay too sweet - it was inedible. I brought my coffee up, let the (different) barista know about the misunderstanding and I even took the blame for it...but explained that I was confused by the term 'shot.'

I, unfortunately, was charged IN FULL for my new americano misto. Even though I only took a sip out of my original drink. I was prepared to pay (and did) but didn't think I...

Mixed bag, mostly bad. On one hand it is the coffee house that is opened the longest in Revelstoke, on the other hand, they put on the radio and half their staff is kind of rude. I love going to coffee houses to work, read and what not. If you make me pay for refills, I'll pay. Just make sure you don't offer me a free refill and make me fill like I'm being interrogated when I ask for it. Or, ask me to move to a smaller table when over half of your tables are empty. I honestly just might start going to freakin Tim's when everything...

Stopped in for morning coffee before hitting the road again. Not sure if they were short staffed or not, but it was long wait in line to get served. Ordered just 2 drinks as I didn't want to delay leaving town any longer. Lots of yummy looks treats in the display. Ordered a dirty London fog ( with a shot of espresso in it) and a vanilla latte. Both were satisfactory, wish I had more time to enjoy the place.

Oh my goodness, this cafe was phenomenal. The vibe is spot on and relaxing with brick walls, cozy lighting and plenty of tables. It looks like they use Doi Chaang coffee and the lattes were delicious, especially the Butterscotch. We also tried the Oreo brownie and ham & cheese bun and they were freakin’ scrumptious. All and the staff were SO friendly and sweet. Highly recommend checking this out.
