Last month in March, 2021 Previously their 2 combo meat or veggie curry included a drink (Dasani bottle - tap water, fountain pop, or chai - what is only available sometimes) with naan and rice. It was more than $11.81 not exactly sure how much, I think it was just under $14.00
But now as of Apr 15, 2021 they offer 2 curry combo with meat or veggie. I just ordered the 2 combo with meat with no drink, no naan (as it was not offered and only rice was available) and the total came up to $11.81
Now you can opt out of the drink and now for a bit less.
I usually don't want the drink and can't eat the naan after the rice anyway, so it works out to be a cheaper option for me. But if you want the extra naan and drink, it will be extra. But still It think is good deal.
The food is limited choice, usually chai is not available nor naan, but if you want to pick up something quick and not fussy - not looking for a lot of variety or customer service for decent price (food court price) this is...
Read moreI walked up and there was a young girl barely 20 years old. I waited for 30 seconds for her to recognize i was there. She made eye contact said hi and then went back to writing on a peice of paper. 30 more seconds go by and she again looks at me but still doesn't come to get my order. Finally I walk over and id like to order. She lolligags over after putting away her paper. And i place my order. She had to go to the back to get enough naan for my order.
She bring out 4 peices of fresh Naan and proceeds to give me the old naan instead of the fresh stuff.
I ordered 2 naan and 1 butter chicken and it came to $17.
Naan was $5 each. For half a peice of Stale bread... you gotta be kidding me.
The chicken was gross. Clearly not chicken brest with disgusting flabby skin peices and joins and cartilage in it. The sauce had no flavor.
Ill...
Read moreI had a very underwhelming experience at Curry Express. Right from the start, the service was poor — the girl at the counter was unfriendly and didn’t even bother with a basic greeting. I had to wait around 15-20 minutes for my food, which wouldn’t have been an issue if the quality matched the wait.
I ordered the Chana Bhatura, and honestly, it looked and tasted like the chana had been sitting around for a week — mushy, stale, and completely lacking in flavor. To make things worse, I was charged $15 but wasn’t even given any yogurt or raita, which is typically standard with this kind of meal.
The salad was another letdown — dry and clearly old. The carrots were turning white from dryness, and the rest of the vegetables looked just as tired.
Definitely not worth the price or the wait. I won’t be...
