Look no further : this is the best cafe in Saskatoon. Yes, I've only been to this one because I just drove by Saskatoon, but no matter, I loved every bit of it. â
Went early morning for breakfast, and the cafe is bathing in a beautiful and warm sunlight. The furniture is well chosen, mostly second hand as I understand after a chat with the only barista here this morning, who kindly told me a bunch about the creation of this great coffeeshop. Decor is worth the view : well adjusted, color-themed and roomy all the while being warm and inviting. The mural is fantastic! đ§đ”
Coming to the food and drinks : we had a hot chocolate (reg. milk), a matcha latte (oat milk), a breakfast sandwich and a vegetarian breakfast burrito : all were fabulous, our hats off to the owner's chef abilities đ. A lot of care clearly goes into making a well balanced plate with perfectly grilled food, or beautiful and tasty drinks. Bonus point for the tea selection!
Other points to notice: đ¶ The music at a perfect volume and neither too slow nor too overwhelming. đ» The washrooms are pleasant and clean. đ”ïžLittle details of decoration catch the eye and make you want to explore every nook (see pictures). đȘ Could add a couple of vegan options, if your clientele requires it?
I could go on, but I'll conclude briefly (ha! "briefly") : a masterclass in great vibes...
Read moreWhat a wonderful little gem in downtown Saskatoon. Fantastic Coffee. Brilliant Matcha. Wonderful line up of food offerings, ranging from local fresh baked goods to soups to sandwiches. Incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff. A really great vibe from start to finish, each and every time we visit. Refreshing to see folks with actual passion behind their project. The passion shows through in their service and use of quality products and ingredients.
Also, great work on closing regardless of what your door hours say, whether it's sickness or needing a bit of a break for loved ones or yourselves, never feel bad about that, real folks understand when life happens. Some however, like the pathetic human who gave a one star review to a new small business doing their best, are too entitled to grasp that. Maybe, just maybe if she isn't too busy drowning puppies or whatever losers like that do in their free time, she will get some real world experience and enjoy life a little more. I'd recommend starting with a really beautiful cup of coffee from...

While initially there was some confusion with the barista about whether or not our orders were to-go or to-stay, it was not a big problem. Just thought that maybe it would have been nice to have more than one person on shift when it got busier, especially for the other customers.
I got the dirty chai and egg salad sandwich. The dirty chai had a great earth taste and was warm - perfect for an early morning. While the sandwichâs filling was well-seasoned and I liked the texture especially with the greens, I thought that the bread was too thick for my liking in comparison to the filling.
However, it was a great spot to grab a quick bite and the dirty chai is...
