Number 1 Noodle House — Restaurant in Saskatoon

We (2 adults) ordered a few dishes to share for lunch. The portions were big, so we had lots of left overs! Always a win~🎉 Dishes was served within 10 mins after order was placed, given we arrived around 2.30pm on a Sunday.

☆ A1. Chinese Pancake Stuffed with Pulled Pork 腊汁肉夹馍 Pancake was crispy, and the pork was very juicy. ☆ A3. Cold Steamed Noodles with Garlic Sauce 凉皮 To anyone who have never try any type of cold noodles (Korean cold noodles, delicious 😋), this will be a good dish to try. Savoury, vinegary, loads of flavor! ☆ B5. Braised Beef Noodle with Soup 红烧牛肉面 We picked the "thick" noodle option, which was their in house made hand cut noodle. ☆ C1. Smashed Cucumbers Dressed in Garlic Sauce 蒜泥黄瓜 A must try appetizer!! Crunchy, well seasoned and omg the garlic!! No vampires will be visiting you tonight! ☆ D3. Pan-Fried Dumplings (pork) 煎饺 They are known for their noodles, but pleaseeee!! Give their dumplings a try!! In house made, filled with meat (we picked pork, but they also had beef as the other option), dough wrapper was thin, yet held all the soup in. Dipping sauce was tasty as well. ☆ S8. Stir Fried Sliced Pork 锅包肉 another tasty dish, reminded me of Korean style sweet and sour pork. All you will need is a side of rice.

Service was amazing! The nice lady server (owner?) was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had when we were ordering.

This spot had been on my mind for weeks after hearing countless positive reviews, so I finally decided to check it out on a calm Friday afternoon. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, it’s incredibly easy to get to, making it an ideal choice for a casual outing or a quick bite. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by their modern and innovative approach. You place your order through an app, and instead of a server, a robot delivers your food directly to your table. It was such a unique and futuristic touch that added to the overall experience.

The prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the prime location and the quality of the food. Service was incredibly efficient, with minimal wait time, which was a big plus. The portions were generous, offering great value for money. The chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The hand-cut noodles were another highlight, with their fresh texture and authentic taste making them stand out from the usual options.

Overall, the combination of great food, innovative service, and a convenient location made this visit truly memorable. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience worth having. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more...

This is a wonderful restaurant in Saskatoon's downtown. It appears (and tastes) that everything is made in-house, including their specialty, hand pulled noodles. For $9.99 you can get a heaping portion of home-made hand-pulled noodles with minced pork, lettuce and cilantro in a spicy garlic oil. Absolutely to die for, this is the dish that I keep coming back for.

Their feel fried spring rolls are made in house and pack more flavour than any other spring roll in town. They are sort of a hybrid between an egg roll and the Vietnamese spring roll most of us in Saskatoon are accustomed to.

The special pancakes offered are unique and quite tasty.

I called shortly before closing, and even though Skip the Dishes listed the restaurant as being closed (closes at 9pm, time was 8:30 with a 25 minute estimated wait), I called and the young lady who answered was happy to take my order, and cut that wait time down to 10...
