On April 21st, I walked into the Sidney location around 7:30 PM seeking assistance with an issue I was having with the app. After spending about 30 minutes trying to resolve the problem, I decided to visit the store in person. The app erroneously indicated that my card had expired, when in fact, it is valid until 2028.
Unfortunately, the representative I encountered was unhelpful and dismissed my concerns. I even showed her my valid card, but she claimed there was nothing she could do. After a lengthy exchange of about 30 minutes, I requested to speak to a manager. She informed me that I could not speak to the manager because she was working a second job and was unavailable. I then inquired if there was any way to honor the buy one, get one for $1 deal, but she flatly told me no, stating that they had no involvement with the app's issues. This is frankly a poor business practice.
I also asked if I could purchase a gift card to use, but she told me that wasn’t an option either. After spending an entire hour on this, I finally was able to use my bank card to make the purchase. When I asked for the manager's name, the representative said that information was confidential and only mentioned that the manager would be in the following day. I pointed out that her name wasn't confidential, but sharing her schedule seemed to be.
The representative refused to even provide me with her name. I attempted to call the store twice the next day, April 22nd, and left my number with one of the staff members for the manager, yet I did not receive a call back. This has been one of my worst experiences with...
Read moreI'm a regular customer of Subway (because I like it my way) and have been for a lot of years (especially when traveling). My experience at this location was very disappointing. They were so skimpy with the ingredients, my sandwich was about 30% smaller than I'm use to. Worse though was the unfortunate lady ahead of us. Her daughter had limited likes. All she wanted was a roast beef sandwich with olives. Nothing else, no other ingredients. Do you think these people would give her extra olives? Just a few and they specifically said that they could only give a little bit extra. The lady and her daughter were disappointed. In hindsight, I wish I had told them to give her my olives. Anyway, I was surprised to see how cheap they were with such a request. After all, they saved on about 10 other ingredients. This seems to be the way Subway is going to a certain degree, but this was over the top with that little girl. Subway has been the only fast food place that I've been tipping at. Needless to say, no tip today. Poor...
Read moreWent to this store on Feb 11/22 Got two veggie subs one cold cut and 4 drinks. Thought cost to be around 40.00. I am a senior on very limited budget. I feel bad that I don't have extra for tips but try to spend money at local businesses. At 72 I am definitely not tech savvy. Could not get "tap" to work asked for help. Was told to press 1 or 0 to get tap to work. Did as told it worked went home. At home realized tip of 7.00 went through. Tried to fix next day but again at 72 didn't think to keep receipt. We ate the subs and drinks. But felt overwhelmed trying to get tip money back. I try to do the best I can for our Sidney businesses but will definitely steer clear of Subway from now on.
Wanted to give a new review. Not sure if this Subway under new management but last three visits the subs have been very good. Nice soft buns and lots of fresh.Much improved and our meals have been really enjoyed.
Not as good as previous visits. Sub buns were very dry. Disappointing meal. On the plus side Parking...
