Food was actually good (I'd give 5 stars for just it), though overpriced, you're paying mostly for the atmosphere. The service in general was incredibly slow. I think part of it is they are using an old system to enter in orders/bills, since we saw the servers standing in a line in front of a single computer waiting with the dishes ready but unable to serve them. Although, we did ask for a water refill (we had to, nobody ever came to even just quickly check in on us the entire meal) which obviously isn't charged, and that took 10 minutes anyway. Considering there were more servers than tables, we were a bit underwhelmed. Like another reviewer said, I think there might be an issue with the management. My mother and I both ordered smash burgers, but they brought out 2 lobster rolls instead. Obviously mistakes happen and I wasn't upset at the server, but we then had to wait 25 minutes for 2 burgers, after we had already waited over half an hour for the wrong order (we weren't offered anything as compensation, would have appreciated even just some bread/simple app to stave off the hunger). Brother had already long finished his food by the time we got our ours. Drinks were boozy which is nice, but the bloody mary had WAY too much horseradish in it, you couldn't taste anything else. Server was friendly to her credit but overall unfortunately just not a...
Read moreHeyday in Sauble Beach is an absolute gem that is worth every bit of the 3-hour drive! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a lively atmosphere, making us feel right at home.
Now, let's talk about the food - it was simply outstanding! The charred broccoli Caesar salad was a delightful surprise. The blend of charred flavors with the freshness of the broccoli, topped with a creamy Caesar dressing, created a taste sensation like no other. It's a must-try dish that left us craving for more.
And then there was the lobster. Oh, my goodness! It was beyond amazing. The lobster was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Each succulent bite was a reminder of why seafood lovers adore Heyday. The attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients truly stood out.
The entire dining experience was top-notch. The staff was attentive, and the service was impeccable. The ambiance was charming, creating a relaxing and enjoyable environment for a memorable meal.

Read moreWith many years of food experience, I expected much more from this place and unfortunately we are very disappointed. The 2.5 hours one-way ride was even more painful! I don't know where to start... let's start with the terrible disappointment with lobster rolls: small rolls, heated in the microwave, full of butter, lettuce leaf bitter, lobser meat overcooked, without spices, greasy. For $ 26, this is horrible and embarrassing to serve this kind of food at all. Local Grocery Stores make better lobster rolls!
The fish cakes were very small, a little bigger than falafel, a plate full of sauce, the taste was not bad - $ 20. I won't even comment on the drink,$14 for Caesar served with cauliflower and celery.
The menu without a choice, more drinks on the menu than food, the prices of the downtown of Toronto, the food tasteless, the waiters do not know what they have at their disposal, they had to go back and check a few of our questions. The bill is no longer important, however I spent the whole day and gas coming here. If you do not innovate the menu, dedicate yourself to quality and think about prices, good...
