My First Beach Vacation in Canada!!! My friend and myself planned a trip to Sauble Beach in Canada and I was browsing to book cottages and Beachside Cottages came up on my search for Sauble Beach. I was really impressed by the response from Tom the owner was very responsive and helpful and always communicated via email regarding our booking process. We drove to Sauble Beach on July 2020, from Kitchener ,Ontario was amazed by our drive on the way it was not a very long drive about 2+ hours. Coming to the cottages we immediately were handed our keys to the two bedroom cottage and I was struck with awe it was spacious with all kitchen appliances and dishes to cook. The bedroom was clean and great however as it was just the wrapping of the pandemic we had to use our own bed linens. The mattress were not bad however the extra beds for the children were not very comfortable and there were many insects that troubled the kids. The plus side was they had a barbecue provided all ready to barbecue. The best part of the cottage was we got a room right in front on the beach view and the beach was really close by a quick walk. The mesmerizing thing was the sunset and sunrise view over the horizon from the beach that was so thrilling. A special thank you to Tom the owner who was always there to help us and provided us with discounts from his other owned small restaurant in front of the cottages. My kids and my friends had a blast at the beach and it was worth the money we spent.Till date that is a beautiful memory that will last forever until my next visit to Sauble Beach. A small tip if you plan to visit during the summer I would suggest you book way in advance as all the cottages around Sauble Beach in Bruce Peninsula will be closed for booking quickly. They also have winter attractions. I would recommend you to book at Beachside Cottages you will love it in the summer.

It's not the Ritz but it is beautiful and well maintained. The owner is a very genuine and kind man. We had a spectacular stay. It is very close to the water and they have their own take away which is delicious and convenient. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed inside. I will be back again.

Well worth the trip! Go early to find a good spot on the beach and for parking because it gets really busy throughout the day. Couple of shops near by and reasonably priced food. Definitely will return!

My daughter found this cottage on a site. When booking the owner (Tom) seemed friendly and helpful. He advised that check in time is later as they need extra time to disinfect and clean cottages from previous tenants.

When we arrived, to our surprise the cottage was not as clean as they advertised. Stains on carpets, bathroom was filthy, floors were filthy, and bunkbed had dead bugs and other things on top bunks, also, there was bowel particles on the side of toilet bowl. My daughter cleaned and disinfected entire bathroom and before we allowed the kids to come into cottage, we cleaned it.

We brought up the issues to the owner via email as he did not answer the phone. He showed up to the cottage, would not allow my daughter or son in law to speak, blamed the mess on my grandkids, told them if we didn't like it to go to a four seasons and not bring the kids to a cottage. As my daughter tried speaking he cut them off and walked away. Tom was very rude, and obnoxious. I would give this place a zero star of i could. The only good thing about it was that it was close to everything. Would not recommend for the...

This was the worst cottage I ever stayed at he said he can have 12 people staying cause its a 5 bedroom cottage that's what he had but we had other family staying at other cottages close by that came during day to hang out it was a problem to him we are family people we went with kids and babys. The place was very moldy and smelly and not clean. Another thing he doesn't say how much about parking when u get there you only get 2 spots and the rest had to pay for parking i also wasn't told that the very ignorant owner lives under neath the cottage he is so rude and aggressive and made us pay 500.00 deposit and never gave it back the last day we had to call the cops but he said take him to small claims court cause he has been many times and wins when we where there I herd another person that was renting fighting back to get there deposit back too so he does this to alot of people , he said we left the place dirty I cleaned that place like its my own it was more cleaner when we left then it was when we got there. DO NOT STAY THERE or give your money to him he robbes people of...
