I dont think that this tiny little google review box has enough space for all of the wonderful things that I can possibly share about staying at the Black Horse Motor Inn. First and foremost, your hosts Natalie and Adam are two of the RADDEST people that you will ever meet! Very friendly, welcoming hosts, who are very knowledgeable about the area. As cliche as it sounds, you will walk in as guests and leave as family. The cabins are well-maintained and have everything that you need. Not to mention, including one of the best locations in town, with a short 2 min walk to the beach and right near the main street. Close to dining and stores. You have access to a heated pool, sauna, patio and BBQ. Here, you may even meet some other great guests that are also staying at the lodge. Anddddd if you're nice enough, you might even be invited in to check out the vintage motorcyle shop on-site. Be sure to check out their storefront for some rad finds also! Great people, great vibes, great place to stay. I will be back!
Thanks...
Read moreI just recently did a short term (off-season) rental for a couple of months here at the Black Horse Motor Inn. It was a lovely place to stay, very quiet and cozy! Adam and Natalie were so helpful with any questions I had, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. It was a cold fall/early winter but the cottage was so warm, and the decor was so charming! This would be my go to place to stay if I’m in Sauble Beach again! It is so close to the beach, so you won’t miss the famous Sauble sunset, and offers the perfect mix of cottage and beach vibes, with the most welcoming hosts! It is also within walking distance of the main strip with all the restaurants, grocery store, and lcbo, which makes life a lot easier. Also there is a wonderful bakery next door and you can smell the baked goods as soon as you leave the cottage, just the perfect addition to my stay there! I’m hoping to visit again soon!
Thanks again Adam and...
Read moreI stayed here with my teenage daughter at the beginning of August. We had such a wonderful 2-night stay! The location was absolutely perfect—just steps away from the beautiful main beach and all the shops and restaurants downtown. The cottage itself felt like a sweet little tiny house: spotless, cozy, modern, and equipped with everything and anything we needed. Did I mention clean?!!
The owners are absolutely amazing. When my car battery died while I was there, Adam didn’t hesitate to take it out and charge it up in his shop—such a kind gesture that I appreciated more than words can say. The property itself is shady, private, and peaceful, with a huge pool. Even though you’re right in the middle of all the action, it still feels tucked away.
I couldn’t recommend Blackhorse Motor Inn more highly—we’ll...
