Iād leave zero stars if I could⦠I bought a cinnamon bun with an extra icing today. I was charged $8.90 for it. I sat down, applied the icing and cut it open only to see if was half cooked and the inside was completely raw.
I returned immediately to the store and The older Asian man that served me (I believe his name was David) who barely could speak or understand basic English first refused to give me the refund I politely asked for, then persisted to probe the plate I hadnāt touched, then offered me two small cinnamon buns instead I refused and respectfully asked for my refund again.
He then short changed me on purpose I gave me $7.25 back. When I said I wanted the full amount, he claimed heās not refunding me the icing. I said itās on the plate and I havenāt touched it. He then aggressively grabbed the money he had given me, readjusted the amount and furiously threw the correct amount at me.

The staff called the manager, I assume to ask if she should in fact give me back my $6.05. Once off the phone she went to talk/laugh about the situation with the other staff member, whom was seemingly more senior - and named Nicole. After a few moments of watching them laugh and whisper to each other, my husband asked them what is happening. Nicole looked at him and stated extremely rudely "uh, we are giving you your money back". I told her that perhaps she might want to work on her customer service skills.
To the owner of this store, you may want to have a chat with Nicole and remind her that she is in a customer service job, and that politeness and manners are important if you want...
