If you desperate for breakfast this breakfast chain is ok but be wary of a few things. Park in the free area and walk into the village but don’t fall victim to the paid lot that’s slightly closer. The food is another story. None of the meals include coffee but it is bottomless unfortunately it’s incredibly bad coffee and they charge $3.50 for the privilege of drinking bad coffee. The breakfasts here are an ordeal since the place in the morning is a mad house and insanely loud and chairs/tables are very close together. We had a guy behind us who needed to be arms length from his table and we got squished . The food itself is adequate but pricey . The eggs are generally fine but mine was over cooked . Home fries now are these tiny nuggets I’m guessing to make them easier to cook evenly without burning which could happen on the bigger chunks. The meat here is its saving grace . Bacon was not too Smokey and well cooked. The waffles and pancakes are fine but the French toast is a disaster. Basically bread dipped in egg and very dense/ hard with strong flavour of some kind of egg product. French toast is supposed to be like egg custard, egg and milk , usually with some vanilla but this had no custard texture just solid and dense. Not overcooked but just poorly prepared. Plus they charge a premium for the “French connection”. With two sausage and two bacon it’s $20 with homefry bits and 3 eggs. If you’re in the village I’d suggest doing either the light breakfast with fruit or the meat only option with eggs. Their carb offerings are quite mediocre and don’t order the French toast . Don’t order the coffee… no matter how many cups you get they’re all bad cheap quality. I’d rather have 1 good cup than 3 bad cups. McDonald’s coffee is...

On Easter Sunday morning, our family of 11 gathered at Sunset Grill in Blue Mountain Village to celebrate a truly special occasion: my parents’ 50th anniversary. With four kids, including a toddler, in our group, we knew this was no easy feat during a bustling holiday breakfast rush. Despite arriving prepared to brave a long wait, what unfolded was nothing short of extraordinary.
The staff, despite being understaffed and under immense pressure, demonstrated not just professionalism, but unparalleled care and compassion. The team lead, in particular, showed genuine concern for us being seated together, a priority that often feels impossible in such situations. Instead of leaving us to brave the lineup, he orchestrated a thoughtful solution by coordinating with his team to seat us almost immediately in a closed-off section. This thoughtful and creative gesture turned what could have been a logistical challenge into a seamless and heartwarming experience.
The team exemplified what it means to go above and beyond, stepping up in every way possible to ensure we were comfortable and cared for. They turned a potentially chaotic morning into a memory we will cherish forever. Such commitment to guest satisfaction, especially on a busy holiday morning, is a testament to their values and dedication.
Sunset Grill didn’t just serve breakfast that day; they served kindness, excellence, and memories. For any occasion, whether it’s a casual breakfast or a significant milestone, I can’t recommend Sunset Grill enough. This team doesn't just serve food—they serve joy, even when the odds are stacked against...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews but today's experience has left a very bad experience for my whole family.
My family arrived today for lunch with around 16 people many of which are kids. When they entered the restaurant they didn't see any servers waiting to seat them and they had many restless children so they sat down themselves first after travelling for hours from Toronto with a bunch of kids. They did not receive any service for a very long time after which one of the kids went up and asked if they could get a server at their table. They rudely told my 15 year old sister "Next time come you should come in and wait to be seated then" and "We'll bring you a server." and chuckled at her like a bunch of bullies. 10 minutes passed and no server has yet to come so all 16 of them got up and left for another restaurant.
I understand they did not wait to be seated but because they have a group mainly consisting of children many and have been travelling for hours they just wanted to sit down and rest. This has been a very bad experience for most of the group as they have travelled from New Zealand to visit Canada and this is how they were treated their first week here. I am horrified at the experience my family received, how traumatizing it must have been when my sister had to go up on her own for a server and then to be rudely talked to that way, and not only that they had laughed at her in her face. They all just stood there refusing to come and take their orders, if that was the case then come in directly to tell us you are not going to give us any service instead of making them wait wondering if they will be...
