A-OK Cafe is an espresso bar located within Aritzia’s Bloor Street flagship store in Toronto. The cafe offers a range of espresso drinks crafted with signature blends, along with a full menu of teas, hot and iced beverages, and pastries. ļæ¼ ļæ¼

Ambiance and Environment:

The cafe features a sleek and aesthetically pleasing interior, characterized by mirrored walls and a neon ā€œEverything’s A-OKā€ sign, creating an Instagram-worthy setting. However, it’s important to note that A-OK Cafe is a laptop-free environment, encouraging social interaction and community engagement. ļæ¼

Beverage Quality:

Customer opinions on the quality of beverages are mixed. Some patrons praise offerings like the Japanese iced coffee and baked goods, describing them as ā€œincredibleā€ and ā€œvery delicious.ā€ Conversely, others have found certain drinks, such as the matcha latte and iced americano, to be below average, citing issues like sourness and lack of quality matcha. ļæ¼ ļæ¼

Service and Pricing:

The staff at A-OK Cafe are generally described as nice and professional. However, some customers feel that the prices are on the higher side, with items like croissants and hot chocolate priced around $5 each. ļæ¼

Overall Impression:

A-OK Cafe offers a stylish and inviting atmosphere, making it a pleasant spot for a casual visit. While the ambiance and certain menu items receive positive feedback, experiences with beverage quality and pricing vary...

We were 5 people who ordered 3 cappuccinos and 2 iced beverages. The staff who took my order at the cash register could see the rest of my party getting themselves seated so I wish she had reconfirmed with me whether we were taking our drinks to go or if we planned to stay there. I believe the cold drinks are given in to go cups anyways but they have speciality mugs and saucers for hot beverages which we were NOT given. I did not realise in advance that this was something I should have mentioned, but she could easily see my family sotting down so she should have known to give them in ceramic cups. I found her overall attitude to be a bit rude in general. No warmth, no smile. The actual baristas (a petite asian girl in particular) were very kind, smiling, asking if i required extra spoons, sugar, etc. the matcha strawberry was nice but I don’t think I’ll choose to dine in here again just because of that one caucasian staff with the short hair’s lack of...

Not sure why the ratings are so low. I suspect because it has a different style compared to some other coffee shops.

It’s a great little place next to Aritzia. Staff are efficient, polite, and professional. No need for small talk if you’re busy, but also open to chit chat if you want a small pause to your day. Coffee is good, no nonsense, a couple specialty drinks, with small seating to watch people (and construction) along Bloor. I would like to believe that the price has tip already added in, thus that’s another big bonus compared to other places that charge 25+% tip sneakily. They don’t demand it and there’s not even an option. If that’s not the case, someone can correct me since staff deserve it.

It is a ā€œlaptop freeā€ cafe. Meaning, you sit and chat with your friends and watch the people go by. Something that’s not a bad thing to do along Bloor after your expensive...

Amazing service, super friendly staff and the best strawberry matcha ever (get it half sweet!)

I’ve been coming here every week for the past few months since I found out they make great iced matcha lattes! At first, the matchas were great- decent amount of matcha powder was used and didn’t simply taste like milk. Now when I go, the amount of matcha powder they put in their drinks has decreased a lot. When I watch them make the drink, they nearly fill the cup with milk to the top and barely put any matcha in there- my drink only taste like milk. You can see the between in colour between the two drinks. A little disappointed that their matcha lattes are made so inconsistently :(
