barBURRITO — Restaurant in Toronto

I've written quite a few reviews on other burrito establishments. And I'm going to say straight up front that BarBurrito at Mount Sinai Hospital stands out is my favourite place get a burrito. Period. Now we know as far as food courts go, no one in their right mind would ever expect to find such a hidden gem in a hospital. But there you have it.

To date, we've (review include my significant others love of here also) had a variety of burrito's in tacos here. The tacos, are okay, nothing special, tasty enough, but just okay. Maybe tacos and I just don't love each other enough.

The burritos on the other hand are exceptional here. This was the first place that I ever encountered what is referred to as 'fusion' at other burrito joints, in the form of - buttered chicken. My love affair with buttered chicken cannot be emphasized enough. I make the dish at home, a few times a month. That somebody combined this into a burrito, well, this has quickly become my favorite in this category. This is not to de-emphasize how good the steak burritos are at all (we both love them too). They're simply amazing also.

If only there was a BarBurrito in Whitby. Someday, someday.

I've been going to this place for years, it's great. Working in the same building I sometimes run into the owners coming in early to prepare the food; so I know its fresh daily. I have only so much time on my lunch break, so I appreciate that all the staff are friendly and efficient so I can spend most of my lunch eating and relaxing, not waiting around for my meal to be made. Had a terrible experience yesterday.We ate burrito there and paid everything.Once we were done, I went to ask for a 1 napkin and 1 fork,the girl with specs at the counter said, it's usually 25 cents.I mean what? You just served us a burrito few mins ago and you telling us to pay extra for napkins? I don't think anywhere else in canada is charged extra for napkins.
