We had visitors over from Ireland and went to your bar for drinks The server was a nice girl but totally over her head and no idea when it came to paying what any of us had to drink. She brought our bills which we ,with complete honesty, told her what we had - when it was time to go and had no idea what she was We told her what we had IN COMPLETE HONEST. As she hadn’t a clue and was so confused The worst part by far was the manager Debs one rude person with the type of personality That doesn’t belong in customer service ! I have worked in customer service all of my 60 years and I can safely say I HAVE NEVER MET A MANAGER SO OBNOXIOUS AND RUDE!! She accused us of stealing and not paying for the drinks we had I have never take a drink from anyone my entire life for free I am not that kind of person. We had to wait 30 minutes for our bills to be sorted. A shambles ! A complete embarrassment for my Irish visitors ! A Shame to Toronto! These establishments need to chose their managers and staff more wisely This DEBS was the worst I have encountered in my 60 years on this earth by far and I/ we will NEVER Cross the door of BELFAST LOVE AGAIN!! On the way out I asked another manager wearing a brown dress the manager in blacks name and she said oh the one you were rude to Debs and walked away. How rude!! Disgusting ! Me ? Rude ! If you can’t keep tabs on people’s drinks ! I have been to many venues in Toronto and this is by FAR the worst treatment I have ever received. Mid conversation this DEBS walked off saying she was too busy to listen to my complaint. How dare she’s ! If you want to keep people coming to your establishment I’d certainly rethink my choice of staff. In particular managers. The service as I said was lovely and apologetic but over her head I /we Will NEVER BE BACK!! It was a complete embarrassment to have visited this establishment and a very bad look for our visitors !! Indeed $40 cash went missing from our table during our...

Read moreAttended here on May 30th, 2022 at around 8pm with a group of 15, no reservation. While we were thrilled to be accepted without notice, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment with the terrible service we received.
We were advised by our server that per policy, groups of 10+ needed to be handled under one bill. It was explained to us that it would be challenging to keep track of who ordered which meal. Alternatively, they would allow us to split the bill equally for each guest. As we were planning to have our own meals, this didn't make sense for our group. This was on an evening when the entire indoor seating area was empty - not a single other guest could be seen.
We asked if an exception could be made, and offered to split tables, or remain in the same seats for the evening to make it easier on the waiting staff. Eventually the manager returned from their ~15m smoke break to tell us the same thing. I asked the manager if we could simply split tables into two separate groups of 7 and 8. With an annoyed look on their face, and while scrolling through their phone, the manager told me it was policy that groups of 10+ be under one bill. After I suggested we could find another location, and in an again annoyed tone, they said "fine, I guess we can give you guys two servers then" and walked away.
At this time, we were so put off by the experience that we left and went across to Wilbur, where we received excellent service and food just 30 minutes from closing. "Was it because of the bill thing?" the manager asked. We responded with a polite "yes." and left
This unfolded over the span of 30-minutes until we left with no food, no service, and a poor memory of the experience. I had been here a year or so before for a work event, and hosted clients for after-work drinks before. My group and I all agreed that we would not be...
