First time visiting this restaurant. Looked good on the outside so I decided to take a chance. Was greeted as soon as I came in. This type of restaurant is new to me so the employee explained how everything works. Seeing all these "mysterious" ingredients was overwhelming and I didn't know what to pick. Instead of allowing me to just stand there, the employee took it upon herself to make suggestions and helped me pick the right portions. While it was more than what I expected to pay(my fault for not weighing things first) the service was super fast, and the food was amazing. I will definitely come back here again, and maybe even visit their other locations if I am in the area

“Soup tastes like chemicals”, no doubt. I saw this comment before I came, but I would still like to give it a try. Now I confirmed the comment with my own experience :( I ordered the minimum level of spicy but it’s still really hot, you feel you stomach is burning after eating them. What makes things worse is that my food got stolen when it’s ready. I have a good memory so I know what I picked and I paid for what I chose, but several pieces went missing when it’s served. LOL. There are huge selections of ingredients and the staff is nice, if you order one soup that’s not spicy, things may be better. Good luck.

It was my first time trying Malatang by my friends recommendation! We came here and we enjoyed it sooo much!! The food was spicy and delicious and I loved that we were able to choose our toppings and what goes in and we got to choose our spice levels. You pay by the weight of how much you got and surprisingly, it didn't come out as much as I expected it to considering I got like everything out of curiosity lol. I'll definitely come by again if I'm in the area its a great restaurant to go to when it's a cold, winter day and you need a nice hot, spicy bowl of noodles

I started to eat Malatang quite recently and fell in love with the cuisine. Taste wise, I think the other franchise I had gone to before was a bit more to my taste, and this was slightly more pricy; however, the service of the servers are really efficient and very nice. The girl at the counter was really caring and sweet to every customer as I could watch from where I sat. Other staffs were very nice to as I observed how they treat and try to be attentive to all customers. I was going to give 4.5 stars if possible, for the taste itself, but the cleanness and the service made it enough to make it 5! Totally...
