2nd in line! Today is their soft opening launch and they're offering $5 chicken bowls (special personal size only, featuring boneless chicken bites, so it's only good for one person, and limit one bowl per person; price is special today only, until supplies last), and it's in 4 flavors - - original, yang nyeum (sweet and light spicy), snowing cheese (powdered cheese) and honey brown. 3 of us lined up an hour before the opening so we got all of the 3 flavoured ones. They have more flavours but starting tomorrow, Oct. 15th, they'll have more flavours and have the complete set (chicken with bone, etc.) in 2 weeks or so upon full launch.

We liked them all! It's our first time to try Chicken Plus. It's the closest one to downtown Toronto, just east at Riverdale, at Broadview and Gerrard St E. It's in the same space as Boba Boy, and it's featuring KFC -- Korean Fried Chicken! ;p 😂🐔 Now, if you're unfamiliar with Korean Fried Chicken places, it's breaded and any of plain fried chicken, sauced

Tomorrow (Oct 15, '23), they'll have more of the boneless chicken and by next weekend, they'll have more items and in 2 weeks' time, the full grand opening with their full menu.

Looking forward to trying them out in the coming weeks. You can order through phone, Google ordering, or the usual delivery apps.

Service was quick. I wish they had rice to pair with the awesome chicken bites, but it's soft opening today only. They eventually will have them by full launch. Free drink also Good reason to return!

Owners and master franchise owner are hands on. All present today!

Food: 5/5 Service (kitchen; it's self service so no rating for dine-in service): 5/5 Ambience: 5/5

Worth a try: if you're into fried chicken or Korean/Asian dishes, Absolutely! Worth a return: Yessir!

Indeed worth a return, as I returned the following day to order a small Boneless Snowing Cheese. It's good for 1-2 people, especially if we have rice with it. Haha. It costs about $20.99 plus tax.

PS also a good excuse to...

i was having a difficult day, much of it on the road and driving through the construction and traffic delays that plague virtually every part of this city. the ability to place my order online, before arriving in the Broadview and Gerrard neighbourhood was an important factor in my decision to visit Chicken+ for the second time.

unfortunately, the kitchen was busy and part of my prepaid order was missed.

already late, i was annoyed. but what could have easily been the lowest point of an already difficult day proved to be the highlight. staff apologized and not only corrected what would have been my overpayment, went further to comp the entire meal. no argument, no debate, just top notch service at a time when many businesses have lost sight of the importance of personalized customer connection. amazon may offer convenience but local matters. these guys have earned my business and brought some karma into being that i hope to share with others..

and, oh yeah, the food is amazing. i've had great Korean fried chicken while living in Manhattan years ago. These guys can go head to head with the best. Top marks; go...

The food is soo good. Probably the best Korean fried chicken experience. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and comes in so many flavour options. The portion size is big even a half order can be shared between two. We got the red marvel size small bone-in. It is sweet and spicy with a white sauce on top. To us this was the most flavourful option.

The guys behind the counter are friendly, super helpful, and high energy. They really take the time to help you through the ordering process if it’s your first time.

Definitely will come back. You should too.

Update:

Went for the second time and had the hottest flavour (hell spicy) size small boneless, and beef bulgogi fries. The fries are to die for, topped with onions, bell peppers, beef, and some sauces. The hell spicy chicken is good if you’re looking for heat but bad if you’re trying to enjoy the flavours because the heat is overpowering to the flavour. However there is an underlying sweet flavour that is really nice and complimentary to the heat. Nevertheless, you’ll definitely start crying.

Overall, The experience gets...
