If I had an option to give zero star I would definitely do it. We ordered a four piece chicken combo for our kids who are 3 and 4, specifically asked for non spicy as my kids wouldn't be able to handle it. Half way home on the highway my four year old took a bite and found out that all the pieces were spicy. They couldn't eat them. I called the store right away and asked to speak to the manager right away, half way through explaining my story, the phone was hung. I then tried to call back 14 times within the next hour, all answered. I understand that every body makes mistakes and as long as you stand behind your mistakes I respect that. But obviously this manager was trying to hide from their mistakes and have us pay for their mistakes. The box of chicken ended up in the trash can, we ended up having to cook for our kids when we arrived home which was way passed their meal time. And we were short $15+ dollars for getting something we didn't ask for. I am very disappointed at this place and will definitely tell my friends in the neighborhood about my horrendous experience with them.
*3003 Danforth Ave. Around 6:18pm on February 7, 2021. Uber order number #884EF, for in store pickup. Tell me if you see that order, and confirm if we asked for spicy or non spciy. * Again, we understand that everybody makes mistakes so we are not dissapointed at that. We are dissapponited in the fact that the manager dodged their mistakes by initially hanging up my call, and then subsequently not answer the 14 calls i made within...
Read moreFor the very first time in all my years of eating fast food fried chicken I got a piece that had clearly gone bad. The minute I started chewing I knew and when my bf sniffed it he said it smelled like fish. I took a photo with an ok piece (both drumsticks) and there is a distinct difference in colour. I did the survey to let the franchise know and I've just realized, a month later I never heard back from anyone. The thing is, I realize that these things happen, especially when it comes to mass produced food. What I don't get is the decision for management to ignore a customer who brings this to their attention. At the very least, in the name of common courtesy, an acknowledgement could be given. Too bad because this location is convenient and I did enjoy the biscuits. My last fried chicken meal was from Mary Brown's and it was amazing. Also good to know that it's a Canadian company based in the east coast and has become my new go to spot for fried chicken....
Read moreJust ordered from there, the staff person was rude, threw the receipt at me without saying anything. I ordered 8 pieces chicken only. Didn’t put napkins in my bag so I asked for napkins, just gave me two napkins and just threw it my bag. Got home and found out they gave me 7 overcooked thighs and 1 drumstick. When I go to Popeye’s or London’s, the chicken are juicy and a nice mixture of white and dark meat. I use to order here at least once a month since they opened. The last two times I’ve noticed the service and quality have been slipping. This was my final straw, especially since the chicken was so bland. Cutting corners on seasoning, fresh oil, giving cheaper cuts of chicken and rationing on napkins is not a way to increase profit. And rude staff is a fast way to lose loyal customers and new ones. Sorry, I really use to like this place too and was so glad it was near us when they opened. I’ll go further and never coming back to this place,...
