Hello. I had planned to spend my 29th birthday here on January 27th and everything went horribly wrong when we arrived, my night was ruined. We went to eat at Earls down the street, then the plan was to come here after for bottle service and to have some drinks. Prior to the day of the party I had been in contact several times with someone named Melo that works here . I had been told multiple times that I only had to buy one bottle because I wanted my birthday sign and that I was allowed to bring a small cake into the club to celebrate. This person who allegedly works here told me everything was set and there were enough seats for my guests. When we arrived there was already confusion over the cake even though we went over this multiple times, but they finally us in with the cake. After coat check I spoke to the owner and told him my name and that I had a bottle service. He told me they were just setting up, but it was taking a long time and no one came back to update us. I walked over to ask this woman who was working there to see if the seats being set up were for my booth and she said "there's only four seats for you sorry".When I was planning this party the lady that I was communicating with told me it was perfectly fine now all of a sudden when everyone shows up there's no room for 10 people?? And the original amount of people was like 17 so why wasn't there room?? I messaged this woman the night before to make sure everything was still good and they said you're all set. I guess once they saw a bunch of black people they had a change of heart. I should've known from the "dress code"of no...
Read moreWorst experience in my life. I had to come on here to let people know that the managers in this establishment are scammers. We had a large group birthday dinner that we reserved for. We ordered our food at 8pm and the first meal did not arrive until after 12am. I ordered a mushroom pasta and instead received a pasta dish with seafood even though I told the waiter I have an allergy. 3 members at our table did not even receive a meal because the kitchen supposedly ran out of food. Because the manager “felt bad” he sent us a couple bottles of champagne and told us we did not have to pay for the meal. As we were getting ready to leave finally around 1:30 am, another manager angrily stopped us and told us that they were going to call the police if we did not pay. Since it was already so late and complied and paid my bill that was somehow 135$ for a cold plate of pasta I didn’t even ask for. I did not eat or drink anything at all. As we were leaving the security guard and other staff members then proceeded to laugh at us, calling us derogatory names telling us we are “cheap” and “ratchet” and just wanted a free meal. The birthday girl left the restaurant sobbing in tears. Never in my life have I had a dining experience like this. Please save yourself the trouble and DO NOT come to this terrible...
Read moreI had my birthday dinner at Empire Supper Club. We booked a table for 17 people in the Versace Room and it was both beautiful and spacious. The restaurant was very attentive in helping me to choose a set menu for my guests which made things less stressful. They also listened to my requests when it came to dietary restrictions. As first time patrons, my guests and I really enjoyed the food. All dishes were super tasty and there was more than enough for everyone to share around the table. Our servers were pretty good at getting everything out to us as quickly as possible and remained professional, friendly and accommodating. I loved when they brought out the flashing lights with the sign that had my name on it to sing happy birthday. Was definitely a nice touch. The atmosphere was comfortable, calm and inviting. At the end of dinner we got to stay for an OVO party which was a lot of fun. The restaurant transforms into a club at around 11pm. We had a blast dancing the night away into the morning. Not too bad for a first time visit. Would...
