Worst Indian food experience in Toronto so far. I’m just here to warn others. My experience was that bad.

I waited 15 minutes for spring rolls. I ordered 4 but they made 8 and charged me double. I thought maybe they gave me extra because I waited so long, but it turns out they just made more and charged more. After telling them I only ordered 4, they charged the right price.. but then went on about how lucky I was to be getting more food than I ordered. I was not lucky; they just messed up my order.

It was a very uncomfortable experience. Service was bad, but the bad food greatly overshadows this…

… The spring roll pastry was raw. But the outside was almost overdone. It was over salted too. Then the filling was dry and bland. Everything that could have been wrong was wrong. My Indian family spat them out. My brother said it was the worst spring roll he’s ever eaten.

If you want a good Indian food experience, don’t come here. Not worth the unfriendly feelings. Not worth the price.

Beautiful service, people, and food. I ordered the chicken pakoras ($10 for 12 pieces!). Sunday, September 25th at midnight. I forget the server's name but he was communicative as he let me know that the pakoras will take 15-20 minutes. I decided to back out on my order at first because I had friends waiting to go out for the Nuit Blanche festival but then my friends said it's okay to wait so I decided to get them after all; the server was patient on my indecisiveness which I appreciate. The pakoras came at the time said they would be completed and they were DELICIOUS!! The server told me that I can try the first one before he packs it in the bag as they get soggy quickly. My boyfriend and I chowed them down in 5 minutes and had the, I believe, chutney (?) It was a red sauce lol.

I'm South Asian myself and usually just avoid getting South Asian food out in public as my family already makes amazing food and I just visit home for it lol. This place was so worth it though, so affordable as well!

Highly...

The butter chicken was too sweet. The chicken tikka was too dry. I requested them to add some extra butter chicken gravy as I ordered chicken tikka as second item but the butter chicken wasn't even enough to cover the breads. I called them specially at midnight. The first time I ordered there was no update on my order it gave me "picking up your order" and when I called they said somebody else picked up your order, then ultimately I had to re-order food for myself gave them the same instructions but none were followed. Feels so pissed after waiting 2 hours for your food and when it arrived you are not even satisfied. My hunger was almost diminished after waiting for so long.

THE STUFF WAS MIXED WITH EVERYTHING LIKE GULABJAMUN WITH BUTTERCHICKEN GRAVY AND THE BREADS WERE SO DRY AND CHEWY/ THICK.

This was the worst place I have ever ordered food from.

The packaging was pathetic.

Do...

The "Friends" part is an understatement! I, in many years and hundreds of places I've been to, never been waited on like this so politely, humbly and generously at a fast casual establishment! 2 of my friends and I stopped in after a show and each got the No. 1 Combo. For $9.99, it's an unbeatable value but I digress; the staff (and presumably owner) brought our food to where we were seated courteously and while we ate kept bringing by other things they were cooking and giving us scoops to try! Even bringing us out a dessert to split amomgst the three of us, all this at no extra cost. Also they were polite and patient with my friends who are strangers to Indian Cuisine. All in all, delicious and authentic. Quick too! Don't pass this place up, I look forward to returning soon to try the Biryani! (Meal consisted of Butter Chicken, Kidney Beans, Rice and Butter Naan. With Mango Lassi to drink.)
