Came to this place Feb 4,2023@12:00 pm. 2 ladies in the front. 1 came to the cash and I asked if they have the 2 can dine. She asked me for the coupon and I reached out to my pocket for it but can’t find it. It may have fallen down, so I told her I don’t have it so I proceeded to check on the menu. As I was checking, the other lady approached the lady on the cash and I heard that she was telling the other lady that she was asking me for the coupon and I didn’t have it. They started looking at me and giggling and then the lady in the cash said that I’m taking half an hour to order. At that time, I had to call my daughter if she wanted to upgrade into poutine. The lady in the cash showed that she was very annoyed and then they started giggling again. I think it’s just very unprofessional. I’m pretty sure customers can take their time to decide on what they want to order. Someone working in the customer service needed to have patience. It did not take me five minutes to try to look at the menu but with the attitude that those ladies showed me, I left and went to another Harvey’s location get my order. One thing that the lady in the cash should have done to customers in same situation with mine: she should have suggested other options like: 1.we have some coupons available on the app if you want to try to take a look at it. 2. We have some other promotions that you can try…. 3. You can take your time and browse through our menu if something can interest you and I will be right at your service when you are ready... Etc etc… I don’t think these girls have any customer service training before they even started working there. These ladies need to learn professional ethics and act...

Used to be my favourite place for burgers, after the Vic Park location was no longer there, I found Barber Green location, not so good as the one at Vic Park, just ok. But lately every time I order, something is missing or lacking. Two times in a row I got double burger instead of angus burger. I simply do not like double burger!!!! It's thinner and dry. This is why I order angus. What is it that makes angus (more expensive) to be confused with double burger (cheaper)?! The tomato slice was also missing. The poutine does not have enough gravy lately. You can hardly find traces of it in the bowl. My husband buys the meat lovers poutine and I wonder how come, if it is a francise, the poutine in Ottawa at Harvey's was much, much better and twice as much (same bowl size)? In fact, there we discovered the meat lovers poutine and thought Toronto would have the same. I ordered combo and paid extra for a juice in the combo meal and never received one (I ordered online). I am totally disappointed! Why not hire people that know the difference between double and angus for a change and hire people who check the order before sending it?! When it happens once, it's a mistake, when it happens two times in a row it's not a mistake, it's a pattern. And the owner of the franchise should do something about it. Read moreI always order from harveys and it has always been a great experience as well as the food. I went in the restaurant with my partner tonite around 8:30pm and the experience we encountered was terrible. They messed up my order did not add cheese on my partners burger, gave onion rings instead of fries, the worker asked me if i wanted ketchup when multiple times i said no ketchup, the worker proceed to say we have no cucumbers when clearly they were visible.
This is not the first time this has happened every time i go after 8:00pm the workers tend to not care, they are not friendly, build the burgers like they dont care. As i picked up my order i told the lady have a good night and she just looked measurable and didnt respond.
