Jacked Up Coffee — Restaurant in Toronto

It kills me to write this because I know the potential here as a regular visitor, but Jacked Up has been inconsistent. You'll undoubtedly get a decent espresso or americano, but venture beyond that and everything else suffers from a dire lack of consistency.

For example, the Flat White can be excellent some days, perfectly balanced with a smooth texture and rich flavour. But other days, it's barely drinkable.

This is an easy fix: care, attention, and priority in training and quality control to meet their potential – all other elements are there. Until then, it's a roll...

The coffee we were served was sour and when we complained, they said that’s the taste of Ethiopian coffee. They did offer refund or a new coffee but they mentioned that the coffee would be the same and that every time they brow a different type of coffee and that’d be the only coffee they have for that day. If you are serving different things every time, you should mention and update it on your website. We were a regular customer, don’t think I ever want to get coffee...

Very rarely do I review establishments but I felt the need to in this case. Walked by this coffee truck and stopped to order. There was a man in front of me chatting with the barista. I waited and noticed that he had already received his coffee and paid. They continued to chat as I stood there waiting to order. The barista made eye contact and continued her conversation. I walked away after waiting several minutes without being acknowledged....
