KFC — Restaurant in Toronto

Where do I begin 900 Dufferin st. BuildingB ... my first impression during lunch is the time that I went and it was absolutely empty and the staff were cackling about their boyfriends.

I placed my order and within one minute I received it. Now keep in mind I came out of the freezing cold hungry as hell!!! The french fries alone made me feel like I just pick them up off the floor on the street absolutely horrible, the sandwich was somewhat edible the meat was half cold the outside was hot that would explain the under a minute service.

I was not given nor asked if I wanted some salt and ketchup, I was given the paper cup to fill for my fountain drink and sent on my way.

As I mentioned it was freezing outside and I was hungry, so I sat down and ate what I could and I had to toss the rest, while I was trying to eat what that was the staff was very Rowdy very loud babbling about their boyfriends and possible breakups not exactly something that should be happening in the workplace and definitely not with that high volume.

I was absolutely shocked by their behaviour and the lack of customer service. I have been there before maybe a couple of years ago and I remembered that it was nice which is why I stopped this time as well. Needless to say it is on my never again list...

We went in around 9:45pm, they said they are closed for dine in and we were about to leave, but order taker said you can sit for 5 mins, while placing the order the other lady said we can’t sit and I said then I’ll leave because we want to have the food. She said it’s okay you can sit for 5 mins, while eating we were being warned every 2 mins, then we decided to eat one piece and leave while the guy who was closing the store was on a call (maybe video call) in loudspeaker talking to some girl in Malayalam. He was unaware I speak Malayalam ( I guess) and was saying the girl “ these people are not leaving, such nuisance, I have told them a lot”. So I and my friend immediately packed our food leftover and stood up. I understand he has to close and leave, but the slang he used was very disrespectful and my friend was very upset. And we left the store sharp 10:00. They should either simply deny or be nice. This happened on 7th April, I am giving all this details to ensure the concerned person is warned and trained to be polite and mindful of his space, also not do his personal calls on...

Exactly what D Pinecone said, messed up our delivery, tried to call back but no one answered, waited 45 minutes on hold until finally giving up. Really, a bunch of incompetent people working here. It's probably better to go in the store and pick up and check your food before leaving. We're not ordering from this place again.

Edit: 4 years later, unfortunately we have to buy food from this place again. I have no choice, I live with a control freak. My problem this time is that the delivery driver keeps dropping the food on the ground instead of handing the food to me in my hands. They don't realize that there's roaches and rats running around the place. And they don't even knock on the door, they just drop the food on the ground and leave. It's probably Uber drivers doing the deliveries now, they are obviously untrained. I now have to look through the peep hole of the door and wait to see what the delivery person does. If I catch them dropping the food on the ground, I'll just have to yell at them or...
