Went there with my older brother who has autism and we ordered him 6 chicken tenders. They said it would be about 10 minutes which is already hard to explain to him why we all have our food and he doesn’t but anyway we figured that’s just reality sometimes. After 10 minutes I asked and she said 6 more minutes, and then after 6 minutes I asked and she said I don’t know. She was trying to ignore me asking her again and went to take the next customers order so I said it again and she got super rude and brushed me off said something to the girl in the back and kept ignoring me. Then the girl in the back started talking and said 4 minutes. I was trying to be polite but getting aggravated and explaining to them that my brother doesn’t understand and he’s been waiting for almost 25 minutes now. They weren’t listening to me so my dad went up and she said quote on quote “I don’t know it’s not my problem”. We are not complaining people I’ve never even written a Google review before but they were just beyond rude and inconsiderate. I worked at McDonald’s for 3 years which gets extremely hectic and I had my moments with customers but I would never ever be that blatantly rude and inconsiderate especially when there is someone with a disability involved. You just lost 3 customers who are there often and hopefully more after...
Read moreMy first summer job was at KFC and I still love this chicken to this day.
This KFC outlet is found in the Eglinton Square Food Court. Service is quick and courteous for small straightforward orders but there might be a slight wait for larger requests.
The female employee behind the counter saw me in line waiting to order taking photos of the menu board and promptly belted out “no taking pictures!” Now, I didn’t let that bother me and leave. I didn’t reply and kept doing it while she was filling other customer food orders. MINUS 1 STAR FOR THAT and MINUS 1 STAR FOR NO SALES RECEIPT! (probably because I paid cash as other reviewers have commented on other review sites.
My food choice was the Tuesday Special for $3.49 consisting of 2 pieces of dark chicken and a side of individual fries. A few years ago, KFC marketing staff invented Toonie Tuesday and it remains to this day albeit the price has risen. Still, it’s a great deal under $4.00 which means you don’t pay PST on your purchase. My bill was $3.65 because I brought my own drink from home.
Back to my dinner...the meal contained 2 pieces of thigh which I love (BONUS! Usually you’ll get 1 thigh and 1 leg). Both the chicken and fries were delicious.
This meal was a great flashback to my summer in the back kitchen cooking and...
Read moreI purchased the big crunch box. The sandwich had hair between the patty and the lettuce. It was disgusting!Do you guys even care about the food safety?? How can fast food chain have hair in the food???? The fries were stale and the popcorn was burnt and stale as well! It looked like it was made in the early morning and just reheated many times. It was terrible and smelled fishy. The seasoned corn weren't even seasoned and it had water in it? For what reason?? Its just terrible at this point! Update : Called the restaurant to let them know, the manager just wanted to go home and kept saying I'll give you the food. He was totally rude, and said the problem was solved why you write review?Because of you my owner called me. Kept cross questioning me for their mistakes and said I'll give you your sandwich just take it and leave , I don't have time? I don't care about the food, i won't even eat from the restaurant that have hair in their food. At least have the decency to apologize for you behaviour rather then being rude and treating someone poorly. Worst kfc...
