La Diperie — Restaurant in Toronto

I live very near to this store and always go this store for ice creams as it is summer time . I' m writing this review after visiting more than 12 times in this month as everytime i thought that staff will improve their bshaviour but unfortunately they did'nt. The ice cream here is absolutely delicious — rich, creamy, and full of flavor.however giving one star for below mentioned reasons During my visit, I found the staff to be rude and inattentive. They seemed disinterested, didn’t greet customers properly, and were dismissive when asked basic questions about flavors or ingredients. They are very rude in answering any questions about ice creams.

They always speak in punjabi their local language and staff never speak english which i find very disrespecting .

The manager ( girl with spectacles ) is really rude and never interested in any customer service.

A big disappointment, honestly. We ordered two slices of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. They were good, as expected, but for the price, the slices were really small. But the biggest letdown was the ice cream. I got the "Apres Match" with vanilla ice cream. It had "56% Belgian dark chocolate, double topping crushed salted pretzels and caramel syrup" on it, according to the menu, and I ordered skor bits as an extra topping. I'm pretty sure that there wasn't any caramel syrup or skor bits in the topping. And the ice cream was, well, kind of gross. It had a grainy texture, like it had been thawed and refrozen. I didn't finish it and threw about half of the cup out. Honestly, just go to a nice grocery store, but a couple of cheesecake slices at their bakery and pick-up Häagen-Dazs or Ben & Jerry's ice cream. The quality will be better and...

A fair choice of tasty desserts. Decent ice creat with great selections. I had the La Fiesta (soft serve with blue dip and sprinkles) with hit the spot. Minus points because

1. I came here with some family members once which was about an hour before it said they closed but when we got there the staff informed me they were already closed
2. They are kind of slow. The line wasn’t too long but some people left because the service was taking too long
3. I wish the dip flavours were clearly shown on the menu on the window Other than that, it’s good place for some desserts especially for those with a late night sweet tooth.

Tips:

1. For those late night cravings maybe call or check ahead to check to see if they’re actually open.
2. You can pre-order for pick up via the QR code.
