During a recent trip to Toronto, I stumbled upon Jz’s Pizza, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The woman running the restaurant, who I assumed to be the owner, couldn’t have been nicer. She greeted us with such genuine kindness and seemed to truly care about every customer. It felt like stepping into someone’s home rather than just a restaurant. Now, onto the pizza—it was fantastic. Thin, fresh, and bursting with flavor. It had the perfect balance of crispness on the crust and just the right amount of toppings without feeling overloaded. My boys absolutely loved it. Watching them happily devour every slice was proof enough that we’d found a gem. The personal touch from the owner made the experience even better. She checked in on us a couple of times, making sure we had everything we needed and even offering recommendations. It’s rare to find that kind of warmth and attention in a bustling city. If you’re in Toronto and craving pizza, I’d highly recommend Jz’s Pizza. It’s not just a place to eat; it’s a place where you feel taken care of. We’ll definitely be back!

JZ’s in Toronto might not look the most appealing from the outside, as it is a little unclear at first glance whether it is a bar, a restaurant, or somewhere in between. Despite that first impression, we decided to go in for food and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. The menu is fairly basic, but the dishes offered good value and were actually quite tasty. We started with a Caprese salad, although in my personal opinion it did not feel like a true Caprese since it contained cucumbers and onions, which took away from the traditional style. That being said, the veggie pizza we ordered afterwards was really enjoyable. It was simple, but effective, with fresh toppings and a nice flavor that made it satisfying without being heavy. Overall, JZ’s is not the kind of place where you would expect anything fancy or high-end, but it delivers straightforward, decent food at a fair price. It is a casual and easy spot if you just want a quick meal without too much fuss, and for that reason it works well.

I love the pizza here. It's thin and crispy crust is cooked exactly to my liking and the topping to crust ratio is perfect. This has been by second time ordering the Rossoverde pizza, but decided to give the wings a try tonight. I was not dissapointed. These are not your run-of-the-mill wings found at most chain establishments (super small in size and drenched in sauce because the wings lack flavour). These wings come in an order of 8, are oven-baked and pre-seasoned with a sauce of your choosing(BBQ,Honey Garlic,Hot Buffalo) on the side and they're HUGE. The wings alone eat like a meal. I also ordered the JZ signature salad (lettuce, onion, tomato, sliced avocado) that came with a delicious creamy mustard dressing. Everything tasted fresh and fantastic, the price is fair especially with the portions you're getting, and it's located right smack downtown- so if you're in the area be sure to swing by. I will 100% be returning. Thank you! :) -Sima (and Shane from the building next door! )

This place is great! I found this place while looking up pizzerias close to Roger's centre to do a pizza takeout for a Bluejays game. I ordered the Jz's signature and got a Margherita pizza for my partner, and the server said the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I got to the restaurant 26 minutes later and was in and out within a few minutes, the server was quick and polite.

My partner enjoyed his pizza and I definitely enjoyed mine. The salami had a nice kick and worked well with all the other toppings, but what I enjoyed the most was the subtle flavour of gorgonzola cheese. The server reminded me that the pizza comes with gorgonzola cheese, which made me wonder if they had customers complain about it frequently, but I thought they did a great job balancing the strong flavor of the cheese with all other ingredients. All in all, the pizza was well seasoned and had great flavors that complemented each other well.

To top it off, I thought the overall value was phenomenal as the pizzas came with the buy-one-get-50%-off discount. I paid just short of $28 for two pizzas, which were enough for me and my partner - I think that's a tough value to beat for good quality pizzas. I checked their website and the discount seems to be offered for pickup orders every day of the week. I would highly recommend this place for anyone to try, especially for people attending a show or a baseball game at rogers centre who are looking for good deals on pizzas (it is a...

I cannot say enough good things about JZ's Pizza in Toronto! From the moment I stepped in, I was blown away by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and helped me choose the perfect pizza for my taste. But let's talk about the pizza - it was absolutely divine. The crust was crispy and chewy, with just the right amount of sauce and toppings. I tried the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and was blown away by the fresh and flavorful ingredients. I also appreciated the variety of toppings and the option to customize my pizza to my liking. But what really stood out to me was the attention to detail and commitment to quality that JZ's Pizza displays. From the freshly-made dough to the perfectly cooked toppings, every aspect of the pizza was crafted with care and precision. It's clear that the team at JZ's Pizza takes pride in their work and wants to deliver the best possible experience to their customers. Overall, I highly recommend JZ's Pizza to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic pizza experience in Toronto. You won't be...
