Good flavour, but average execution
We order 5 items:
Beef tartar $27 Good portion, good flavour, but coming frozen, was very disappointed. We didn’t want any more but they kindly bring us a new one, and that was frozen too, they offered to us remove from The bill but we decide bring at home, and pay any ways, was good flavour but 2 times frozen. ( of: cooked tartare it’s not a tartare 😅)
Corn cheese $9 Not bad, not hot enough for us, mild flavour, not big deal.
Spicy stir fry baby octopus $28 75% veggies 20% protein 5% sauce I relly like this ratio… Sauce was pretty good!, spicy enough, balance in general I really like it ! Proteins was good too! Veggie was not really enjoyable ☹️. I really like vegetables, but peppers and onions was kinda big size, and this it’s not the problem, it’s that they do t cook enough, was raw ! Comparatively whit the carrots and green onions that whit good size you can cook faster. Unfortunately 50% to the plate was peppers and onions (my fav veggies 😞) Big sizes are ok but need more time that the smaller.
When we pay the bill they offer 10% that for the not really good experience I think was not enough, but we appreciate, anyways they say after that just in cash… was funny.
Mango juice $4 Box juice.
Budweiser bottle $5 We order the Sapporo pin on the menu but...

Take, for instance, the cheese tteokbokki; as evident in the image, it had a small piece of Swiss cheese that left me expecting more. The standout items were the steamed meat dishes. Overall, it serves as a decent introduction to Korean snack food, albeit a bit on the pricey side, especially considering the quantity we ordered.
Service - Arriving around 5, we were promptly seated and served. Despite the bustling atmosphere, I appreciated the quick service. Even though they forgot my Coke, given their busyness, it was forgivable. The staff was friendly, professional, and overall, I couldn't have asked for more.
Ambiance - The establishment excelled in creating a delightful ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the effort put into the decor, featuring a captivating mural, string lights adding charm, and a moody overall lighting scheme.
Accessibility - It's worth noting that the space is quite narrow, and the bathroom is located down some stairs.
Overall, I had an enjoyable experience. It's important to mention that this isn't the BBQ place frequented by Korean stars; rather, it's more of a snack-focused...
Read moreI recently visited Mopa Pocha Soju Bar and I must say I was quite impressed with their food and drink offerings. The standout dish for me was definitely the Army Stew, which was packed with flavor and a perfect mix of meat, vegetables, tofu, kimchi and noodles. It had a good level of spice to it which added a nice kick to the dish.
The Sweet and Sour Fried Chicken was also quite good, although I found it to be a bit too sweet for my taste. However, the chicken itself was cooked perfectly and had a nice crispy exterior.
And finally, the Litchi Soju was a real treat. It was definitely on the sweeter side but had a lovely fruity taste that went down smoothly. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Mopa Pocha Soju Bar to anyone looking for some delicious Korean food and drinks. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch. Make sure to try the Army Stew and Litchi Soju...
