My recent visits to this McDonald's has been met with low customer satisfaction. The quality of food remains the same (it's McDonalds after all) so this is more towards the customer service side of things.
I enjoy ordering Coffee and Iced Coffee made with chocolate milk. It's the cheap mans cafe mocha without getting all the frazzle dazzle of whipped cream and 'flavor shots' that taste more like wall paper then they do chocolate.
So here is my recent issue. This particular McDonald's claim's "they cannot do it". That they are simply not allowed to put chocolate milk into my drinks. That I must order the chocolate milk separately and mix it myself in order to get my mocha flavouring. This would not be a big deal...if I wasn't able to get the drink exactly how I want it at every other McDonald's I've ever been too. No questions or complaints.
My order exchange sounded like this when the first problem occurred: Me: Hello I would like an Iced Coffee made with chocolate milk Server: OK...just one Iced coffee? Me: yes...made with chocolate milk... Server: So one Iced coffee and a chocolate milk on the side Me: No...I want the Iced coffee MADE with chocolate milk. Server: ok drive up to the window please I proceed to get an Iced Coffee made the regular way, no chocolate milk, without explanation. I go inside to complain. When I get to chat with a person inside they claim "they could not do it". I pointed out that they said nothing to me about that over the intercom and that I've gotten this exact drink before with no problem at other locations. They refuse to replace my drink and so I leave telling them that their customer service is terrible.
Second order exchange: Me: Hello, I would like a Coffee made with chocolate milk. Server: OK, one coffee and one chocolate milk? Me: No, I would like the Coffee made with the chocolate milk. Server: ...sorry sir we cannot do that. We can't make a coffee with chocolate milk. I proceed to order a coffee with 2 milk, annoyed that I cannot get my coffee made the way I like it.
I understand a small part of the issue. For them to do this they would need to open a chocolate milk container and leave it in the fridge, potentially throwing it out at the end of the day. To counter act that point, I am sure that McDonald's throws away a certain percentage of milk anyways that hits its expiry date...and OTHER McDonald's have been willing to do this for its customers.
I hope they change their policy and the way they talk to and treat their customers at this particular...

But last time I waited behind 2 vehicles that moved up, I was the third car. Once I reached the speaker to place my order. I waited about 12 minutes before someone said hello, what can I get you. I placed my order for filet of fish, drove past window 1 because they were accepting payments at window 2. The cashier (male Indian) said their debt machine was giving them issue, if I can try another card, I said sure. Tried about 3 of my cards, and tried multiple times. After waiting to pay for my meal which I asked to be freshly made, was ready to be served to me. It was ready to be handed off to me but they couldn't accept my payment option. The guy harrased me if I had cash, then asked me to drive around to window 1 that I drove past to pay after waiting so long. So, I told him that wouldn't be fair to me. I seen cars in my rear view and if I went around to pay, no body would give me way to reach window 1 because people would think I'm trying to bud the line without knowing I was going around to pay. Get my drift? It wasn't my fault and it wasn't fair to me to go around either. The manager also wanted me to go around, and I said nope, I'll wait here to pay but I won't leave or go around. Worst customer service, no line up, yet I had to wait nearly 17 minutes to get my meal. I was the third vehicle in line, and then 6 vehicles pull up. Read moreI am a skip driver and we delivery drivers represent customers. The staff at restaurent doesnt even mind we are here and are giving away all other orders that were ordered then and there. After half an hour of waiting i went in and asked the staff what the problem is. They said that they havent started making the orders . I tried telling them that we were there for half an hour and my customer has ordered via the app and its already been about 45 minutes. A bald guy with the a blue t shirt ( seems to be the manager) came out of no where and had suddenly started arguing that i should leave the premises and wait outside as there were so many peopel inside the restaurent. It was the restaurent staff that had asked us drivers to enter inside and wait inside.
Atleast the manager and staff can hear to us and ask us politely. Instead they seem so much rash and ignorant. Everyone does a job for a living and we drivers do this for a living. Its not a hobby or just extra cash or pocket money. WE DO THIS FOR A LIVING. Whoever sees this comment please respond and ask these people to be nice to everyone.
