Mi'hito Sushi Laboratory — Restaurant in Toronto

I've been eating lunch at this establishment for over 8 years period today I ordered a miso soup. The female attendee helped me with my soup. I finished my soup which was fine and once I got to the bottom of my bowl realized that there was a long hair that is clearly not mine as I am of Afro descent in my soup. I walked back to the stand to show them the hair that was tangled in the vegetable in my soup. The female attendant immediately turned around to get me another soup, but I assured her that I am not looking for another soup I am here to let you know about the hair and I don't wanna refund neither, the male attendant standing behind a female attendant with his arms crossed said thank you with attitude almost sarcastically. I replied to him that I'm not looking for a thank you I'm looking for a apology. The man immediately continued with the attitude saying that he doesn't have to apologize. There was another lady waiting in line for her sushi behind me and she agreed with me that he should be apologizing the man then looked away from me and refused to look directly at me. I went on to communicate that I would rather go directly to them rather than make a Google review or go to CP24 about this situation as I am a small business owner also. I am very disappointed, yes, about the hair, but more so about the entitled attitude that this man displayed towards me. Is there comfortable with displaying this kind of attitude and lack of hygiene at the front of shop it makes me wonder what's happening behind closed doors and after hours. Any attendant working at this place who has long hair should be wearing a hairnet. Unfortunately i will never dine...

Came here on my lunch break on Saturday, they close at 7PM.

They are located inside the Yorkville Village Mall next the the Real Fruit Bubble Tea shop.

I got the Poke bowl with Kimchi Beef.

Pros: Customer Service was excellent. The person was really down to earth and helped me with the menu as well as let me have extra sauces to try on the side. Portion is pretty big for an item in Yorkville, I got the full size poke bowl salad -- came to less than $14 Unlimited Toppings Tastes great

Cons: Still pricy but what isn't these days? the lid of the salad is a little hard to open

Love the food here, and willing to try other things...

The food is good here, relatively fresh but nothing to write home about.

However, DO NOT GO HERE FOR LUNCH IF YOU ARE IN A RUSH. The service is absurdly slow and inefficient, I'm not sure why they don't have an extra person or two working the front. Wait times of 20 minutes and more for food that doesn't have to be thoroughly fried/cooked. Just a headscratcher really...
