New York Fries 2150 Bloor Street W — Restaurant in Toronto

I went to this place today!

I had received a coupon on my new york fries card for a buy one poutine with a drink and get a free poutine with that.

There was a woman that was on cashier around 1:30PM. I showed the reward to her on my phone and she did not claim it. I didn't realize at first but when I only got one, I asked where is the second one. She said there was no option for a free poutine.

How is that possible? I work in technology and I know how these things work. If a promotion wasn't production ready how can a company like NYF release it? Makes no sense.

I showed her the card and she kept trying to make a fool out of me saying no it says there is 3 points until your next reward. It clearly said "Latest Available Reward" on my phone.

Then there was a man that looked much senior to her came and he gave me the refund and claimed the reward for me. Thank you to him.

While claiming the reward the woman loudly and sarcastically screamed "And you want TWO butter chicken poutines?".

How can such unprofessional people get a job in the front line or even get a job at any place?

Anyway never coming back...

I usually go here as I am TTC driver. Food and Service were awesome, it was white girl who served me and she was amazing and excellent at her job (Friday, 1:15 p.m). However, I would like to let the owner of the restaurant know that there was also another white man (employee of NYF) who was tall and had spects and he was abusive and very aggressive toward this white girl (mentioned above) who had done nothing and just was doing her job excellently as well as he was harming himself by banging his head to the wall. This shouldn't have happened at any workplace as workplace should be a secure and safe space for their employees. I think reasonable actions need to be taken regarding this incident. Moreover, I would not like to come back for my food to such places. I am giving 5 stars to my experience because of that white girl's excellent customer...

It was my first time at this location and it was a good experience, the staff was friendly and quick to greet and serve, the food was good, I feel the hotdog was ok but for my preference I would have liked it to be more warmer and for the fries they were good and portioned properly but not so crispy but I must say there was a good amount of sauce, when it comes to fresh cut fries I choose NYF for it.
