Society Clubhouse — Restaurant in Toronto

We chose Society Clubhouse for our wedding reception on June 24th, 2024, and it was a fantastic decision. From the start, Erica, co-owner, was professional, but it was her warm energy that truly drew us in. During our initial phone call, we discussed various options available to us to make our reception exactly as we envisioned. It was clear that Erica genuinely wanted to work with us to make our day special.

Erica and the staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to visit the space before making our final decision, and allowing us to drop off decorations and other items before the event date and time. On the wedding day, the staff were super friendly and fit in with our guests as if we were all reuniting at a high school reunion. They went above and beyond, not only helping with the setup before the reception and teardown at the end of the night, but really helping us to organize the space so it best suited our vision.

In terms of the venue itself, we rented the entire space, and we’re glad we did. It allowed us to set up a cozy area in the front for dinner and speeches, and keep the back area for dancing—which we did all night long.

We highly recommend Society Clubhouse as a venue for any event. The combination of a beautiful space and a dedicated, friendly staff made our wedding reception unforgettable.

My partner and I hosted our engagement party at Society Clubhouse this past weekend and we have nothing but amazing things to say about the venue and the incredible staff that work here.

During the planning process I spoke with Erica on several occasions. She was friendly, supportive, and very accommodating. She answered all of our questions and was supportive with changes to the bar menu and preferences for the venue set up. We also spoke with Anthony about all of our tech needs. He was knowledgeable and so helpful with ensuring our DJ had everything he needed for the night. Anthony and three other wonderful staff joined us on the night of the engagement party. They were so warm and welcoming and we heard from several guests that the kind and outgoing staff made all the difference. It allowed my partner and I to enjoy ourselves knowing we were in good hands.

The venue itself is bright and spacious with tons of standing room, sitting room, and an open back space that we used for a dance floor. The space was inclusive and accessible for all of our guests.

Everyone had a wonderful night, and had great things to say about the space, the staff, and the good vibes :)

We recently hosted an event for about 50 people at Society Clubhouse - and Erica and her team were fantastic! Erica was super easy to work with, responded quickly to my questions, and was super flexible with the space (setup style, timing, etc.) The price is reasonable for the space rental, and she shared a list of preferred vendors (we used Phancy Foods, and they were terrific). On event day, the two staff members were incredibly helpful with setup, greeting our guests, answering questions, and providing a fun, upbeat party vibe. They gave us excellent service and even helped us with some setup decor. And paying the cleaning fee (minimal!) made it super easy, as they took over overseeing the breakdown. We had lots of extra food, and they were happy to help pack it up, too. We received tons of compliments on the space, the staff, and the food from our guests.

Overall, we had a wonderful event; the staff made it easy and fun. I appreciate the open layout and flexibility of the space, the kind staff, and the variety of beer and drink options. They seem to be connected to the community, too, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend Society Clubhouse for your event - or stopping by for a beer at one of their many other...
