Went to Starbucks this morning to grab coffee, and as I was walking away one of the two drinks in my tray fell off and smashed onto the sidewalk. It was right in front of the window, so everybody inside saw (perfect). Itâs been that kind of morning, so I accepted my fate, assured my dog it wasnât his fault, picked up the broken cup, put it in the garbage and went on my way. After a few steps, I heard someone calling my name; it was a man who had asked to say hello to my dog earlier. âTheyâre making you a new drink. What did you have?â So, I come back to the door, thank him and tell him my order. He goes inside as I rearrange myself and my little Gizzmo so that I can carry the tray properly this time. As Iâm walking in, the gentleman from earlier comes over and adds the new drink to my tray along with a pup cup (Gizzmo pictured enjoying his pup cup)! I thanked him again and went on my way, making it home to write this review. On the way home, however, I realized that in all that chaos (and embarrassment,) I forgot to say thank you to the TEAM MEMBER(S?) who were understaffed and working the counter to perfection - as usual at this location!! Anyway, they were busy (and like I said, understaffed,) and I couldnât risk extending my trip for fear of spilling my drinks again.    Read moreI have been going to this location for a while now and normally my experience has been good- the evening/weekend staff are much friendly than the staff in the morning. My recent experience was ordering the holiday drinks and when you order 1 you get a free red cup. I did a mobile order when I got to the counter staff wasnât too friendly (I understand itâs busy but it would still be nice to be greeted) I had to ask for a tray since I got 2 holiday drinks and 2 orders of breakfast. I had asked the gentleman for a tray and reminded him that I ordered 2 holiday drinks- his response was âoh yeahâ and just gave me 1. I wanted to ask why I only got 1 cup but I had to get to work and I didnât want to get a ticket as my car was 4 way flashing outside. My thought was what if I didnât remind him, I had spent well over $25 for that 1 order and thatâs the kind of service I get and I tipped them as well.    Read moreSooooo this specific location for Starbucks is absolutely perfect! 1st, it's always clean. 2nd you are greeted as soon as you open the door. It truly is such a beautiful nice change from other companies etc. However its not mandatory in my opinion! 3rd, The product speaks for itself.
Again the staff, they are brilliant, and at many times I can be indecisive so they show alot alot alot of patience! Lexi served me this evening, but I will collect everyone else's names, as they all do such a wonderful job!
It very important for Torontonians to recognize great work, and above stellar service! Thank you to the entire team and staff. The coffee is amazing, but the service is spectacular.!
