I lost the count on how many times I’ve been to this amazingly fresh and delicious sushi restaurant! From taking home dishes to all-you-can-eat, every time I’m craving for sushi this is my favorite go-to destination! What truly sets Sushi Place apart is their kind and courteous staff. The attentive servers always ensure my every need from iced water to extra ginger, and their exceptional service always makes me feel like a valued guest during my entire visit. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness’s to offer suggestions and recommendations also elevates the dining experience to new heights. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! Sushi Place boasts an impressive array of sushi rolls that cater to a variety of tastes, and I must say, their Spicy Salmon roll and Dynamite roll are absolute standouts - my favs and can’t miss dishes! The Spicy Salmon roll is a symphony of flavors, with the perfect balance of fresh, tender salmon and a pleasantly fiery kick. It is well crafted and leaves me craving for more. As for the Dynamite roll, it is a true explosion of flavors in my mouth. The combination of crispy tempura, creamy avocado, and succulent shrimp tops with a tangy sauce created an irresistible blend that has me savoring every bite. Also, the freshness and quality of the ingredients are evident in every bite, and it is clear that Sushi Place takes great pride in delivering a great culinary experience!

As soon as we walked in it was a headache. The rude server was asking us about 3 times how many people there were (we had answered the first time that it was 2) Unfortunately her tone of voice did not change throughout our visit. I asked if I could have the skin taken off the back of my salmon teriyaki and she groaned and she tried to explain to me it was impossible. So I told her it would be fine skin on, just to avoid talking to her any longer. I ordered the salmon which came with a salad, rice, and a soup. The miso soup was okay, it was a good temperature but very salty. The salad wasn't bad either but some of the leaves were crushed and the dressing was all on the bottom. As for the rice and salmon, dry and bland, overcooked and crispy and a portion the size appropriate for a kids meal. For 15 dollars it was a terrible value, the resteraunt was so dark I had to take out my flash light to order, and the service was sub par at best. I won't be going back.

Will rate this restaurant when done....soon as we sat down waitress asked if we were doing all you can eat or regular menu we said all you can eat then she took the menu right away said "you can't do both" I asked for the menu back as it's our first time here. hmmm the waitress serves while on the phone :( oh oh. Foods seem quite salty and unfortunately doesn't seem fresh. Chicken portion really tiny we couldn't eat anymore. When desert came the waitress dropped the icream to us and wanted us to pay right away without asking if we need anything else. I'm lucky because I understood her in chinese talking about an other client who came in to the restaurant who left before us. As I was eating I just began to finish my icecream and she took it from me. It's great to know the chinese and be a part of their culture but here we were served by chinese in a Sushi restaurant and service or food not so good Needless to say we will not attend again.

Been to many AYCE sushi places in Toronto, and decided to try this one. Dinner menu: first order we placed, with mainly sashimi (about 10 pieces pf white tuna, red snapper and oil fish), the chef cut the pieces extremely small - if you order less the pieces are average, as we saw with salmon (waaay smaller than the average). Octopus and Tuna only 2 pieces per customer! We thought it was to order 2 pieces per person with every order sheet - wrong. The waitress ignored our request on the 2nd order and pretended it didnt happen (as opposed to explaining their rules). Also pieces from second order sheet was getting really really small (some pieces were the size of a quarter or less). After our second order (which we had to try hard to get the waitress's attention), we requested another paper, and the chef gave a 'sign' to waiter to not give us the paper for further ordering. We were literally told 'for desert now just tell me what you want'. I was told they only had ice cream when he clearly served other customers other deserts and other options where in the menu. Before we even finished, waitress came with the bill, saying 'you are a lovely couple' all smiles. We left a tip (which I did not agree to it - my partner did). Not a good approach for a 'so called all you can eat'. Very rationed and pressured to leave quick - the restaurant was not even busy !! My partner and I did not even order that much, and not even a glass of water we were offered.

Positives: place is clean, food is quick. Hot menu the portions are average. Sushi was very nice, tasty, fresh, filled nicely!

Negatives: we were rushed, the sashimi portions were extremely rationed and small, after first order good luck getting the waitress's attention. You will be ruahed to get out and not eat more - horrible!

Price: AYCE dinner during the week was CAN 23.99 - pay attention when you go there as there are two prices to AYCE, as some items are 'premium' thus...

Experienced the most disappointing customer service. Came there at 4:20 and we were the first customers, young man at the cashıer looked as if he was bored and didn’t want to entertain. He was just on his phone the whole time. Even rude when he was talkıng to us.

We ordered three different items; bento box (chicken teriyaki), philadelphia roll, and Chicken Katsu dinner. It was nice at first until we noticed that the tempuras that came with the bento box were dirty. The shrimp poo were still there. Ushered the waitress to tell her about our concern and kinda dismissed it. She was in a rush when they were only us and two more customers there. She told the, who we think, is the owner about our concern. We also tried to explain it to the owner but he said he doesnt understand because his english isnt good so he dismissed us too. We told the waitress we are ok to have it replaced but she said she can’t guarantee that it will be clean and even said they’ve been serving that for a long time now and even said other restaurants have the same dirty shrimp. Never in my life have I eaten in a japanese restaurant that serves dirty shrimp until I came here. And the way the waitress and the owner handled the issue was disappointing. They seemed mad that we have a concern. They only want to attend to the other customers.

I work in a restaurant and that’s not a good customer service. We weren’t even angry at first. Never ever going back here. Dont recommend. 50...
