Update on Feb 19th: A Fantastic Turnaround – Great Dining Experience!
After a less-than-ideal first visit, I was pleasantly surprised by how the restaurant turned things around. Management reached out to apologize for the previous experience, and this time, they truly delivered.
From the moment we arrived on February 14th, we were warmly welcomed by the manager and seated promptly. The service was outstanding—our waitress was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making for a perfect dining experience. The food was delicious, the cocktails were expertly crafted, and the overall service was impeccable. This experience reminded me why I believe in second chances, and I’m glad I gave this place another try. We truly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back!
Original review: I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit to the restaurant. As a first-time guest, I was genuinely excited, but the service left much to be desired.
The hostess was extremely rude and made us wait for 25 minutes past our reservation time, despite there being plenty of empty tables and an unoccupied seated waiting area. It felt as though we were being forced to stand and wait unnecessarily.
After waiting 10 minutes beyond our reservation, we had to approach the hostess ourselves to be seated. This lack of courtesy and professionalism significantly worsened the overall experience and set a negative tone for the rest of the evening.

Read moreWe walked into the Berczy and loved the ambience. We were taken to a very nice table and our waitress brought menus. We ordered some fabulous calamari as an appetizer. Then the place got busier. I ordered a hamburger as my main, it sounded delicious. It tasted like a dried out pre-frozen patty with no seasoning served with canned pickles and some kind of no-name sauce (that was supposed to be brie). At the price it was a major disappointment, and the taste was terrible. I would have said something - but nobody asked how I liked it - just if the fries were okay. I guess they know it isn't really edible, which begs the question why leave it on the menu.
Maybe I should have ordered something else, but the waitress said the rest of the orders were generally on the smaller side and this was a good pick if I was starving.
We asked for the desert menu, and then spent 10 minutes trying to get someone to take our order. I get that is was busier than when we arrived - but really. In the end my husband ordered a drink that was also pretty terrible. He watered it down with ice cubes and water so he could get it down.

Read moreCame for dinner on a friday night for my partners birthday as i really liked the idea of a live piano bar and nice atmosphere. It was a very nice place for that kind of vibe. The service started out great but towards the later half of the night the staff stopped picking up our song requests after only our second request in which the pianist didnt play any. As well as the hostess could not stop checking herself out in the mirror behind our table at least once per 2 minutes. However the most disappointing was the food. My partner ordered the octopus and was very disappointed. She said it lacked any flavour. I ordered the steak, came extremely rare. Almost blue. Also did not enjoy the flavour. The drinks were fine but the food was definitely disappointing. I think with better food the restaurant would be much better
