I was in Toronto staying at UoT for a week and this was my go to east takeout spot. Relatively cheap for a very filling meal. One order of momos is definitely enough for one person, only order more if you have multiple people or want lots of leftovers. I tried the butter momo with chicken and with vegetarian. The different fillings dictate different types of dumpling shapes. I thought the vegetarian filling was definitely the best. Full of flavor! The chicken filling had a thicker dumpling dough which was still good but I preferred the thinner dough for the vegetarian. The butter momos come in a nice sauce and aren’t spicy (but you can ask for chili sauce on the side to add to your liking). The only thing was that on several different occasions when I ordered the same thing I received varying amounts of sauce, most of the time is was good but twice there was barely any sauce at all which was disappointing. So the consistency was a bit off for me but otherwise good. The interior is very small and really only good for a single or two people max groups. There is no water available besides paid bottled water which was disappointing. But the service was prompt and friendly. If you order online for pickup the dumplings are ready super fast, like consistently 5 minute wait time which was really nice.

I have been here many times and have tried their chilly momo, kurkure momo, butter chicken momo, steam momo. All were OK I like their butter chicken momo the most. I DIDN'T LIKE THE JHOL MOMO AT ALL the gravy was just ugly and tasted bad. I have never tasted this bad jhol. Edit : after 1 year I decided to come here in hope to have good sizzling MOMOS, I ordered paneer steam MOMOS, it was soooo disappointing, so bland,no paneer filling inside I could barely see any paneer, it was just bland veggies and very less filling, mostly I could taste was the dough 🤢🤮 I successfully WASTED my 13$ never ever coming back here. They need to do so much better regarding their filling, wonder why the shop is still there. I literally wanted to throw the rest of momo and wanted to talk to the seller, but, just somehow I remained silent and left the shop in disappointment. ZERO STAR food quality.

My coworkers and I came here for lunch as we were working in the area. This place is a hidden gem for sure! Located right outside the Bay Station exit (Bay and Cumberland), it's a nice place to have a quick and flavourful lunch. We shared a few of their dishes as we wanted to try a variety of them. Each dish came with 8 pieces. Here is what we had: - Steamed Momos (potato and cheese filling) - Butter Momos (chicken filling) - Chat Momos (beef filling) Overall, we really enjoyed the Momos. Of the three, we really enjoyed the Chat Momos the most, then the Butter Momos, and the Steamed Momos. The steamed momos are kind of like perogies. They are quite plain, but may be different with another filling. I will definitely come back to try their other flavours and fillings!

Tried the mini house today after passing by the place a few times. I want to give it positive reviews but it was just alright. First off staff was friendly. Inside very low key - more like a take out place wirh a few tables not a restaurant. A few options to choose from. Wish they had a better description of what each items were. Service was fast. Infact a little too fast which makes me wonder. So as far as the taste I ordered chili momos- I asked which one would be spicy. Colour was bright red with a sauce all over. When I tasted it it was sweet and sour sauce with bell peppers and maybe a few chili flakes. It’s not what I was expecting a chili mono to be. Flavour. The meat was ok. Had flavour was quite dense the meat and not really juicy. Normally momos have a thin wrapper this was quite thick and became hard in a few minutes o I sort of wonder if this was steamed before and then microwaved when I ordered it. Too bad. The order for 8 momos with tax and some mandatory tip at the check out came over $16. I think that’s a lot. I’ve been to many mono places which were more authentic and it’s usually $9 + tip and tax. Maybe because it’s in yorkville? I do wish it was presented a bit better and had more flavour to be worth the cost. It’s not horrible. I am glad I tried it but I don’t think it interested let to go back. Hope others try it and get a better impression but I wasn’t in love with it...

Food maybe good but Extremely disrespectful staff. For me respect comes way before taste of food. On Sunday, Feb 19, I had taken my friend and my sister here for the first time. We reached around 8:10 and placed our order. I had specifically ordered Kurkure Momos with paneer filling. After exactly 5 minutes the woman who had taken the order came and said that paneer momos will take a while to make so can she do the veggie for that as well. Now I work in a store myself and understand the rush of the closing hours and happily agreed. She also gave us a pack of Chaat momos to compensate for it and we got our order by 8:23. We were eating when all of a sudden both the women working there asked us to hurry. Again I understand the closing hour situation and the three of us agreed. It was exactly 8:43 when the woman who had taken our order asked us to leave immediately. My friend said that we are hurrying up and just give us 5 minutes and we’ll be done. She shouted at her and said “we need to go home, how inconsiderate”. And then she went in the back, started shouting something in her language and said “I am calling the security”. We left immediately after that. I have never had an experience like that and refuse to take such insulting behaviour. Will not recommend this place ever because of my...
