As a small business, customer service should always be a top priority — unfortunately, that aspect seems to be missing in this restaurant. It honestly hurts me to leave a negative review, but I hope the management, who seem very genuine about their business, will take this feedback in a positive way and use it to improve. Customer service definitely needs more attention, and there should be clear standards for ensuring every guest has a good experience. The washroom could also use better maintenance, and the food quality should be more consistent. If a customer raises a concern about their food, it should be addressed right away — whether that means replacing the dish or offering some form of compensation. I truly hope to see improvements, as the potential is there — it just needs better care and attention to detail

The halim came out first, and the moment it hit the table, that rich, deshi Bengali aroma instantly took me back to the streets of Bangladesh. The taste? Absolutely authentic — warm, flavorful, and comforting. It truly felt like I was enjoying a bowl right from a street-side vendor back home. Next came the chotpoti — a little spicy, perfectly tangy, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was delicious and satisfying. If you’re craving real Bangladeshi street food vibes, this place hits the spot. Highly recommend

I tried the Beef Paya and Beef Tehari, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! The paya had a rich, flavorful broth with tender meat that melted in the mouth perfectly cooked and deeply satisfying. The beef tehari was equally impressive, with fragrant rice, balanced spices, and juicy beef that gave every bite a wonderful taste. The portions were generous, and the food felt authentic and full of home-style comfort. Definitely a meal I would recommend to anyone who loves traditional flavors done right!

I ordered 2 chicken biryanis and they were served after about 15 minutes. The moment the plates arrived, we could immediately smell that the food was stale. We returned it through the server, but unfortunately, we overheard some derogatory comments from the staff in Sylheti, dismissing our concern (“it’s fine, who said it’s gone bad?”).

The staff were not apologetic at all. Instead, the server simply offered to replace it with beef tehari. When the bill came, I was charged for 2 beef teharis and for a pop I had ordered earlier. As a customer, I didn’t receive what I initially ordered, and not even a single apology was offered for the inconvenience — over 25 minutes of waiting in total.

Additionally, I noticed the server handling salad with bare hands, her finger touching my lettuce and cucumber on the plate, which is unhygienic. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and trains staff properly on customer service and food safety. Mistakes can happen, but how they are handled makes all...

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Not sure if these google reviews are legitimate or not

Probably the worst Bengali restaurant in the Danforth area. It was my first visit and definitely my last. I wanted to try the mutton kacchi, but they said it wasn’t available. Then I ordered polao and chicken curry, and later they said those were out of stock too.

They only had chicken roast and beef tehari — even borhani wasn’t available. This is a new place, yet almost everything on the menu is out of stock. One guy ordered, Samacha they get it from another store and charged 0.5$ extra for each piece.

Even the chicken roast was bad. I told the employeei cant eat dry need some gravvy, but he brought me more dry stuff instead.

I’ve tried all the Bengali restaurants in Danforth, and honestly, Radhuni Restaurant still has the best food quality and...

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this visit was honestly a letdown. I went to this Bengali restaurant expecting authentic flavors and warm service, but neither lived up to the reputation. The food was bland, oily, and clearly not freshly prepared — even the rice tasted reheated. The service wasn’t much better. It took ages for the food to arrive, and when it finally did, the staff seemed completely uninterested in making things right. What really puzzles me is how this place has so many glowing 5-star reviews. After my experience, I can’t help but wonder if some of those “amazing” reviews are genuine. It just doesn’t add up. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you’re okay with overhyped food and underwhelming service. There are much better Bengali places out there that actually deserve their...
