AlHadbah Donair — Restaurant in Vancouver

Hello , I am a International student here in canda, beside that i am doing food delivery as a part time such DoorDash and Uber. On last 9th August 12:20pm i went there for picking up a delivery order i faced terrible behaviour from that guy who was Working that time. I got two orders together for the same customer, one is AL-Hadbah Donair and another is Megabite Pizza. AL-Hadbah Donair was close to me so, I went there first they said it would take 5 minutes (But I Know it would take more than 5 minutes because they are always late to prepare food. That is why I went to the Megabite Pizza, they also said it would take 6 minutes, then I waited there for almost 10 minutes then I got the food from this restaurant (I also said to the customer, I will add the screenshot as a proof ). After that, I came back to AL-Hadbah Donair restaurant, and the staff said he was not giving me the food as I was late, and kept assuming that I made another delivery in a very rude way with his abusive gestures in front of inside customers, I tried to explain, he didn’t even listen to my word instead he went outside and kept shouting me that he is not going give the order to me, and I should get out from his restaurant. I am a full-time international student here, and I know how to talk politely, so I didn’t argue with him. After that, I talked to the customer, then she called the restaurant, and he talked rudely with the customer as well. (I will also add the screenshot, she said they were too rude) then he gave me food I went to the customer. And customer said she is not going to order from...

My first experience with this place a few years back was outstanding, as was the second. It was a once-a-year treat when I renewed insurance with an agent located in the same building. A family-owned business that was dedicated to provide high quality street food. I often thought of going back for another Lamb donair - it was either too late or something, ultimately too far away.

Delivery services have now made it possible to enjoy a Lamb wrap again. The first order was, as first experienced, outstanding. The second order turned out to have to be altered - no lamb meat. A substitute to beef was made. What a huge disappointment on the first bite to find that hamburger-like ground meat, rolled up 'like a snake' and put into the wrap ~ not carved off the rotisserie!

The unfortunate thing about delivery food is that, more often than not, it's just too inconvenient to take it back. All that said, I give five stars because of my first experiences.

Finally, I trust that the operators will read this review and make the necessary adjustments to ensure the customer gets what they see and expect, at a reasonable price.

Just because it is a delivery order is no excuse to crimp on the quality/quantity of...

This has been my go to place whenever I am visiting vancouver. Friendly staff and the food is fantastic..always give the guys 10 bucks as I appreciate how hard they work. This is why i walked 2 km both ways from my hotel to pick up my food...its that worth it. Unfortunately, after my experience yesterday, I will not return. Asked for 2 falafel and shawarma wraps. As he's preparing to wrap them, I noticed no shawarma. Asked him where's the shawarma. We don't do that was his respons. Um, ya you do, as I've had it 5 times in the past few months. Instead of just adding shawarma as I requested, he paid no attention to me, and was rude and condescending. Too bad, cause I really loved this place. As someone who works in the industry, dumb move to not just make the customer happy. Learn your customer service. You just lost a good...
