DONT COME HERE , THE OWNER FOCUSES IN GOSSIPING INSTEAD OF IMPROVING HIS BUSSINES.
I am writing to express my concern about the experiences I have had at your establishment. During my last visit, I noticed there have been derogatory comments about my cultural background, which made me feel uncomfortable and inappropriate. Each person is unique, and I firmly believe that we should not fall into stereotypes or prejudices.
Recently, an incident occurred while I was riding my scooter on the bike lane. Let me clarify that I was very careful and followed all traffic rules while attempting to make a right turn. Unfortunately, one of the pedestrians seemed displeased with my speed, accelerated their pace, and even intentionally stopped to hit me. In response to this aggression, I informed the person that I considered their action an assault and that I intended to contact the authorities.
At that moment, you, as the pizza business owner, intervened in the situation by taking the side of the person who hit me. You expressed willingness to testify against me, arguing that my scooter was going at an excessive speed when, in reality, my scooter barely reaches 20 km/h. However, after a thorough investigation, I could confirm that my maneuver did not violate any traffic laws, as my intention was simply to make a legal right turn without crossing the red light.
It is essential for you to know that I do not harbor any personal animosity towards you or your business. Nevertheless, I find it inappropriate to support someone who resorts to violence instead of promoting a respectful and peaceful environment in your establishment.
I urge you to reflect on the importance of being more reasonable and respectful towards your customers and community members. Promoting mutual understanding and respect for all individuals, regardless of their cultural background, is crucial to building a more harmonious society.
I sincerely appreciate your attention and hope that we can find a friendly solution to this situation. I wish that, in the future, all people, regardless of their background, can enjoy your restaurant without worrying about derogatory comments or unpleasant incidents. I will be gathering information and collecting videos to share with the authorities regarding the man who hit me. I remain available for any...
Read moreI first heard of Did's from one of my co-workers who said that him and his friends would hit this place up often and actually hang out with the owner ( DID) I was told this was the best pizza in Vancouver and I FINALLY got around to going here as I am quite new to downtown. Did was just coming back to the shop from home as we got there and got to talk to him for a bit. We ordered a large pesto and tried a mushroom, pepperoni and a few grandma slices, which he told us the story of where those perfectly simple slices came from and how his grandma would have them stacked up ready for her family after school. This is the best pizza place Vancouver has ever had. I can't believe he's been around since 83' and we only got to try it now... He also told us that he is going to be closing down next week which is heartbreaking for the city to lose such an authentic gem. I know he's had a great career being around so long but I really hope he finds a spot to reopen some day because his personality, food and all around authenticity is so refreshing which is something this city needs more of. I'm thankful my boy Simon told me about this place and we all wish you the best. I'll be placing and order tomorrow and can't wait ! SUPPORT SUPPORT SUPPORT which this amazing shop is...
Read moreSimple pizza for simple minds. Among the photoshopped pictures of stars and politicians eating pizza and decor that reminds me why Rome fell, is a write up by the owner describing his restaurants stance on pork. "I was doing research into bovine spongiform encephalopathy...farmers where mixing grounded bovine bones into their feed...this is why we don't serve pork products." The owner signed his name to this, and his genius is no doubt on display across all his establishments. I read this page while eating a large pepperoni slice that undoubtedly contained porcine relics. This triggered a rupture in the space time continuum , I momentarily switched minds and body with a mentally handicapped bobsled runner. I was in his body , racing down a tunnel about to win the special Olympics, and he took over my form, eating my slice , satisfied in the knowledge that he too could one day run a pizza franchise. Did's is where the pride of a pizza making family, meets the dull reality of commercial pizza. It's better than Fresh...
