What better cure for hot Summer Nights than some ice~cold gelato? A stifling heat wave has permeated the air for the past few weeks like a chokehold that just won't let go, and blasting your fans on high just isn't going to cut it.

Having just finished dinner at Lupo with my girlfriend and walking out of the restaurant into a cloud of heat, we rounded the corner into Gelato Express and basically had the place to ourselves.

It's a store that has made the most of its cramped space, with framed artwork, a row of Minions Paraphernalia, and of course, the gelato taking center stage with a whopping 42 different flavors. Luckily, the server offered us two free samples each.

The more scoops you buy, the cheaper it is, but we were both pretty full after dinner, so we settled on one scoop each: Dark Chocolate and Moose Tracks {Vanilla, Peanut Butter Cups and Fudge}. Smooth and creamy, the gelato was refreshing and just the right amount of sweet.

We ate it on the store's one booth like seating, backs against the wall. So we had front row seats to the crazy lineup that started to form immediately after we got our gelato. It was astounding just how many people showed up and even more impressive how many of them were able to crowd into the tiny store.

I should've tried their Akbar Mashti {Rose Water, Saffron and Pistachio} which I saw quite a few people rave about in the reviews. No matter. I will definitely be back for...

Gelato Express is a hidden gem for ice cream enthusiasts! I had the pleasure of trying their passion fruit gelato, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The flavor was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, capturing the essence of fresh passion fruit in every bite. The texture was smooth and creamy, a hallmark of authentic gelato, and the natural fruitiness shone through without being overly sugary.

The staff at Gelato Express were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and dedication to quality are evident in every scoop. Whether you’re a fan of tropical flavors or just looking for a treat that stands out, the passion fruit gelato is a must-try.

I can’t wait to go back and explore more flavors. Gelato Express has officially won me over as a loyal customer! Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates...

Dope late night Gelato! We stopped by for a dessert just before heading to the Lions game in a great location just minutes from the stadium and looks to be the best value for money in the area. We have been to the same chain at deep Cove which wasn't a bad experience so gave it a shot. To be honest, this wasn't my first option or preferred as they lack any vegan flavors and only have one dairy free which isn't just water-based sorbet which blows. However, I had the Dairy-Free Dark Chocolate with a Mint Chocolate Chip which was really yummy and a great combo. We also got a Kinder Bueno Charcoal Waffle Cone which is white Chocolate based and also super good. Support...
