Excellent food as always… feels like I am at my grandmas house for some food when I eat here… I’m disappointed they had to change their classic “Russian spoon” name to harbour spoon since some customers/outsiders pathetically harassed this poor establishment because of the political conflict happening in Russia… like how dense do you have to be to go out of your way to harass them because you got triggered over their name when they have zero affiliation to the war that is completely out of their control… shame… well anyways, I’ve been going here way back to their original location in New Westminster and I come to this location when I happen to be around Vancouver area. Ladies working here have a heart of gold and funny enough..all the bad reviews they get just come from people who don’t know how to first ask them if they have a problem… love you ladies!

Update: I never received a gift card that was promised to me by the owner in the reply to my review. I order for them all the time and usually close my eyes on many little things, like cold food, small portions, s hair in the cabbage buns etc. But today I just can't get over what happened. So they had a promotion on Uber eats buy 1 get 1 free and I was so excited to order my favorite honey cake. Guess what I received? A tiny piece of cake cut in half!!! The same piece that would normally be delivered as a single portion. Whom are trying to fool? Very disappointed, Natasha 😞

Had an excellent lunch here at Harbour Spoon (formerly Russian Spoon). I got their Cabbage roll with four pierogies combo (16.22 w tax). The pierogies were filled with potato and were creamy almost in texture without the wrapping breaking. They came with a side of sour cream and were topped with fried onions. The cabbage was super tender and it was stuffed full of pork and chicken leg meat! The meat was very flavourful and was topped with a tangy tomato sauce. The woman who runs the ship is very friendly too! Cash , debit and credit accepted.

FYI TO VANCOUVERITES This place is incredible with MANY delicious types of Russian and Ukrainian food! (You heard that right tasty Ukrainian food as well!) Very affordable and super convenient when taking transit as The Russian Spoon is located right in front of Waterfront Station! LOVE the soups they are so delicious! 😋

It hurts me to hear that there’s a bunch of idiots out there calling and leaving threats over the phone! HOW is a Canadian Russian/Ukrainian business associated with Putin and the Kremlin?! Seriously disrespectful and discriminatory and UN Canadian to say these things over the phone to an amazing Canadian family business! The Russian Spoon has been donating funds to Ukrainian people and supporting Ukraine and has offered Ukrainian food for quite some time! Show some support during these tough times to our neighbours and businesses as they are caught in the thick of it just like the rest of us! Ps. If you have the chance try the pierogies! The Russian Spoon is...

I removed my last review, because you were complaining about the low score I gave you. Here is 5 stars for you if it helps. You don’t have to change your rules for me. But since you know that I eat at your place everyday for already 7 months you probably know that I have never used you stamp cards before and that one I gave you today was the only one I ever had. Again, you don’t have to change your rules, but you could just make an exception at this time and kindly explain that next time I’ll get a stamp only by ordering that certain items. This is what usually businesses do that value their guests. Moreover, it could be a nice gesture as you probably noticed that today I brought my friend who has never tried russian cuisine before. Anyways, good luck...
