"I recently had the pleasure of visiting Opus Art Store to purchase a picture frame. What made my visit truly exceptional was the assistance I received from Amy. From the moment I walked in, her warm and welcoming demeanor put me at ease. She not only helped me choose the perfect frame for my artwork but also took the time to guide me through the entire process of assembling it.
Amy's expertise was evident as she explained every step patiently and clearly. She ensured that I understood how to properly place my picture in the frame, align it perfectly, and secure it. Her attention to detail was remarkable, and her willingness to answer all my questions made me feel valued as a customer.
Throughout the process, Amy exhibited a genuine passion for art and a commitment to helping customers achieve their creative vision. Her knowledge of framing techniques and her dedication to ensuring my satisfaction were truly impressive.
Thanks to Amy, what could have been a daunting task turned into an enjoyable and educational experience. Opus Art Store is fortunate to have such a dedicated and knowledgeable team member. Amy's exceptional customer service has not only earned my trust but also my loyalty.
I highly recommend Opus Art Store to anyone seeking art supplies and expertise, and I especially recommend seeking out Amy for any framing needs. She made my visit memorable and left me confident in my ability to showcase my artwork beautifully. Thank you, Amy, for your...
Read moreI went to the new harbour centre location and was not impressed with the staff. Without exaggeration I've spent hundreds of dollars there in copics alone and that doesnt even touch what I've bought in paper, or other mediums. That being said, I dont appreciate being followed around and pestered like I'm casually going to walk out with half of the store unpaid for in my pockets. In the first 10 minutes of being there staff approached me 7 different times bothering me and prompting to tell them specifically what I was looking for so they could pick it out for me. I'm an adult, and the purpose of me going to the store rather than online is so I can see and test things in person before I buy them. No, I dont need your opinion on what width of masking tape I should get, no I dont want you to take everything in my hands to put it at the counter just so you can be sure I cant walk out with it without paying. I'm extremely disappointed with this behaviour and honestly they need...
Read moreAlthough I thoroughly enjoy Opus' Grandville island and Victoria locations with it's friendly staff and wide array of art supplies, this particular location always makes me feel super unwelcomed. I always love browsing and spending lots of time in an art store, and I'm sure most artists can relate, but stay away from this Opus location if you want to take your time! The staff will be watching and stalking you like a hawk and make you feel like a thief for even picking up a single item. To an extent it's understandable seeing that this location is close to Chinatown and East Hastings, which are considered the dark "underbellies" of Vancouver. However, after feeling unwelcomed all the times I've visited this store, I will not be returning to this particular location despite it being the easiest to reach via transit. Hopefully the move to the new location in 2019(?) will improve the attitudes of the staff and make customers feel...
